YEAH YOU! I JUST HAVE HAD A 180° DIET REVERSAL W/ MOST DRAMATIC RESULTS...TOTALLY ASTONISHING. I JUST WENT FROM 9 YEARS OF CLEAN WHOLE FOOD PLANT BASED TO DOING A 180° diet change. I started to eat a pound of organic grass fed a day. Out of nowhere. Holy Crappola, did my cells need this. Wowza! I literally lost FAT FROM EVERY CELL OF MY BODY SO RAPIDLY I VIOLENTLY SHRUNK THE VISERAL FAT WHICH WRAPPED & ENCASED ALL MY ORGANS. I PLAN TO DO THIS FOR SEVERAL MONTHS , OR STOP THRIVING THEN TRY ADDING BACK SELECT VEGGIES AT SOME POINT. EYE OPENING!HAPPENING. RESEARCHING THE EXISTENCE OF NATURAL OCCURRING PLANT CHEMICALS THAT HAVE EVOLVED, DEVELOPED TO PREVENT PREVENTIVE CONSUMPTION SO THEY MATURED UNTIL PROPERGATION.

This is the most relatable situation to my own though I'm much older and have less to lose. Dr. Barnard's 21 Day kickstart is what is working for me. Never feel hungry. Dr. Greger and the Esselstyns are my other gurus. I think everyone has to figure out what works best for them. I've found a new role model in Anthony Massiello.

That is more than I weigh. I have always been amazed at people that wait until they are morbidly obese before they decide to address the problem. I don't understand the concept because it doesn't happen overnight. I mean it happens slowly, but you don't notice it until you're so big you can't move. Just like losing it doesn't happen overnight. Better late than never and good for anyone that can accomplish this, but it is so much easier to never go there, and you don't need a doctor to tell you that you are killing yourself. I'm not trying to be mean. Good for you Anthony. This has helped me understand. Thank you
@anthonymasiello3
@anthonymasiello3 Жыл бұрын
Hi Patrick! Thank you, and I understand and agree with what you are saying. It’s incredibly logical. Unfortunately, in the moment, the destructive behavior (eating in my case) is not logical. It’s impulsive, and likely comes from something deeper. I don’t know what that was for me, but I do know it took a very serious rock bottom moment for me to “wake up” to the point I was willing to do anything and everything I could to change the trajectory of my life. I’m incredibly grateful for that moment, the insight, and the strength that enabled me to change. That’s why I share my story now, with the hope that I can help someone else to light that spark inside themselves. I don’t think your comment was mean at all. I’m just sharing my own personal perspective, to the best that I can even understand it myself. Thanks again for listening, and all the best!! 🙏😊

The ending really resonated with me- that some people will take longer than others to get healthier. I went WFPB Aug 1 of this year and I've had a lot of positive results, including weight loss and getting off a few meds. But I just got off the phone with my cardiologist who says my potassium levels are too high and I need to reduce those foods, including beans, leafy greens, tomatoes, among other foods. These are some of my favorites and its so frustrating when you think you're doing the right things, but taking three steps backwards. Thanks for your channel - it has made a world of difference in my life.

Chuck in my region, simply ordering vegan from our restaurants in the midwest means full coconut oil, sugar and starch. Frying in vegetable oil and more, but all plant based.
@christinemarie2264
@christinemarie2264 Жыл бұрын
Tips for ordering Thai food from a Thai Restaurant Operator- specify soft tofu. Thai restaurants typically cube and deep fry the tofu because it's easier to cook with and maintain the presentation. The unfried tofu crumbles in the wok. You also need to specify no fish or oyster sauce and no sugar. (The prepped sauces for the restaurant have a lot of sugar. I helped my husband make several sauces last weekend. Wow was I shocked at the sugar content. ) I don't know why there was so much oil in your curry. It could be that the coconut milk they are using had filler oil, or they didn't mix it well so you had a lot more of the cream. Then if they added water (inflation on coconut milk is real) the coconut cream may have separated from the water. These are just guesses. We don't add oil or water to the curry, but we have received the wrong brand coconut Milk which did effect the curry. A good Thai restaurant should be able to accommodate you. My husband makes me great healthy food, which sometimes show up on the specials list.

I've been watching a Thai cooking channel, and it's part of the curry cooking process to heat the coconut milk enough to separate out the oils and use that to toast the spices. I haven't been able to talk myself into making my own curries because I'm working to avoid that kind of saturated fat. Hey, if you put it in the fridge and can pull that layer of fat off the top, at least it's a lot healthier that way...
