What I do is back the trailer back up against the silage and drop the tyres straight in, saves double handling them and a bit of time, true about the exercise though 😀 High torque starter would be the job for the case I thought your most asked question would be how many cows and how many acres are ya farming 😂

Any advice on New Holland t6020 delta. Thinking about buying one. I see you pop up here and there and you've lots of knowledge.
@jerryodriscoll36913 жыл бұрын
@@billabong9215 I wish I did 😂 very good power to weight ratio, would be a bit bouncy on the road without weights or a loader being a 4 cylinder, if you had 600 tyres on the back and 480 on the front she would go anywhere, try to get one with the electro command as the 114lpm pump is guaranteed, it was only an option on the dual command so that removes the guessing, not sure about if it came with the syncho command gesrbox that had a manual shuttle and was very rarely put on tractors only seen it once, 110hp so more than enough grunt for slurry tanker etc, if you wanted to put a loader on it try get one with the hi vis sunroof but it's not essential, with the dual command the cables have a tendency to stretch and can be a bit hard to get into gear, with the electro command the gearstick doesnt like to go back into the lower 8 gears due to lack of use generally, 9-16 would be the most commonly used gears You might consider a TS115A aswell maybe but it's harder to find these with low hours, 6 cylinders and very good torque so depending on what jobs you have in line for them Just like any tractor keep on top of the servicing and gearbox calibration every now and again and there'll be pretty much nothing to go wrong Hope this helps 👍
@billabong92153 жыл бұрын
@@jerryodriscoll3691 unreal! Thanks , this is really helpful. I priced a second hand JD 6090r and it'd shock out what the dealer asked. Now that was seriously bouncy and it had a loader on . Drove a few New Hollands now( been converted) and the dealer is only a few hundred meters from the farm, so that's that then. Cheers
@jerryodriscoll36913 жыл бұрын
@@billabong9215 as soon as JD fellas sit into a real tractor they get converted straight away 😉 JD are shockingly expensive always and the worst thing is you cant fix them yourself at all unless you buy the servicing computer which is a few thousand extra 😂GF Coyle tend to be very good at sourcing new hollands like the T6000 range TSA range etc so I'd give them a ring and see what they have in stock 👍 they have a knack for finding low houred tractors and I'm pretty sure they give warranties on them too so cant beat that
@evermorevictorious27423 жыл бұрын
You should put much more straw on the ground as a cushion when you pull the calf out from the cow's womb. If the calf's head hit the concrete ground, it would kill him instantly.
@IFarmWeFarm3 жыл бұрын
I don’t let the calves head ever hit the ground, watch carefully what I do just before it comes out, I lift the jack up which pulls the calf upright and holds it there. Thankfully I haven’t lost a calf from a birth delivery in over 10 years as a result.
