@@kassanovabloodgood9122 Laying down on a cold, hard floor in a dark room didn't help my migraines, but they kept things calm, so it didn't throb as much and I was less likely to vomit. I totally understand the in-the-dark-under-the-table-on-the-floor. It was getting injectable vasodilators that saved me from a world of hurt, though. Haven't had a migraine last longer than 15 minutes since.

@@marklebury more of they don’t really care what’s wrong. Like they do the bare minimum. For instance, they gave me a med that barely helped with what was wrong with me. Well I had a bad motor reaction to it in my jaw. I also have tmj. Luckily I took a Benadryl before we went because they didn’t even check on me or brought me to the back. I'm not an expert but I do think it's not possible for you to be awake during a grand mal. A grand mal is disorganized discharge of your entire brain, including your consciousness centres, if you were awake that means it's not a grand mal seizure.

@daftzeta3671 8 ай бұрын
@adityajadav9933 I'm not sure, but I have been awake for two full body seizures, first one I had no fucking clue as to what was happening. These, again, puzzle my doctors. I remember the first vaguely, but mostly what happened after as I tried figuring out what was happening and hopped on my xbox trying to ask friends about it. Was only 16. The other at work. My seizures are triggered via stress, if that matters at all.

Looked into it a bit more just now, focal aware seizures apparently. They're only partial, but for the most part mimic a grand mal. Apparently they didnt beleive me,so they wanted to do a pelvic exam and a pregnancy test. My Mom had stepped out of the room for a moment and they asked all of these questions. Once they mentioned the test and exam,I started to cry and told whoever was in the room w/ me to go get my Mom. Tehy didnt do either one and concluded it was kidneys giving me issues. 7:10 Parents have no right to be angry. Yes house woke their son up when he was in pain and yes it hurt him but it was necessary. He needed to know what that kid was experiencing before the accident. I’ve seen many cases where a severely injured patient or severely burn. Patient had to be woken up briefly just to get an answer. Of course it’s not doctors preferred way of doing things if they can find the answer without putting the patient through unnecessary pain then they would try to, but if they absolutely need to wake them up. It is some thing that is done. They monitor their heart and their blood pressure and all that to make sure that they don’t go into shock or something while they’re talking to them and they re-sedate them as soon as they have to, however, the parents had no right to tell house that he couldn’t do it again, because house still didn’t get the answer he needed from the sun and again. I’ve seen cases where they’ve had to wait the patient up twice. I’ve seen cases where they’ve had to wake the patient up and while they were trying to get the information the patient got too painful and they had to put them back under and then they tried again later and got the answer although this is not the preferred way to get answers, it’s necessary to do so.

Those doctors would rather do ANYTHING other than a thorough physical exam of a patient. Alas, it's common in the profession. My mother died of a tumor easily found if her docs would have done a good physical examination, but no, she never complained of a tumor in her abdomen so nobody properly palpated her belly to go looking for one. 1000% typical behavior, if it isn't a test that can be billed, then what's the point.

Even makes my anxiety worse, but I'm going through it. Gonna try therapy to see if that helps before going back on meds
