There are four UK fairs that have a legitimate claim as being the biggest - Nottingham Goose Fair, Hull Fair, Newcastle Town Moor and the Kirkcaldy Links Market. They’re all big, but ‘biggest’ comes down to how you measure it. There’s also Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, that’s also big in it’s own way, being the only one that attracts major rides from mainland Europe. When it comes to European fairs, events at places like Tilburg, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf and the Munich Oktoberfest are on a whole different level to anything we have here.
