WOW , I call BS on getting ran off the road. I bet they were happy to have that wreck towed away before the Police got involved. I bet there would have been multiple charges against whom ever was driving. Maybe like DWI , perhaps driving with out a valid license or valid vehicle registration , speeding , reckless driving , no insurance . Would anybody care to wager that the fence has not been repaired and that the property owner does not even know these clowns? WOW sheesh .

I enjoyed watching this old video. Riding the curvy roads in the rain with wind shield wipers swooshing back and forth made me so sleepy. Here's a tip when it's raining. Put down the phone, slow down, don't follow too close and use the brain you were given!! Also, make sure the story you're going to tell the cops/insurance companies both jive. That Chevy's got quite a bit of damage, wonder if the frame got twisted as well? I went there In October and passed by that church thing. When going to our cabin we had to drive up this really steep hill. I believe our cabin was apple seed or something like that and had a great time.

We always get full coverage on our vehicles. When we got our estimate the full coverage was literally 10 more dollars a month so that was only $20 a month for both vehicles. And over the last 10 years I am glad we did it even on the older vehicle.

New subscriber here lives in New Market but works in Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg area. People can't drive in sevier county when it rains or snows. The terrorists I mean tourist are the worst specially in winter time. I bet they were haul butt and playing phone lost control. Mostly wasn't another driver to run them off road.

We live off an old state highway (1 lane each direction). The road is bad, no way to pull off unless your beside a farm field, similar to that in the video. People drive crazy especially when it rains, or snows. Many accidents, and deaths on this highway. The wildlife are constantly hit. The local farmers who live off this highway know to slow it down, it's people who don't live in the area that cause the accidents. Their always passing in the double yellow line areas as well.....crazy!!! More business for y'all. Stay safe!!

Jeff sorry to say that's MOPAR for ya. I never had good luck with Dodge, my Jerr Dan self loader was a new 2003 Ford F-550 Ext Cab I never had a issue with it, when I sold it in 2009 I had 250,000 miles on it.

To stop springs from squeaking spray them down with heavy duty lanolin spray really well an years ago they used to sell oil to lube the leaf springs in the old days it was listed in mobil lube books

It just baffles me how other vehicles SEE you parked on the road, helping someone, yet they drive by way too fast for safety. Slow down, folks! There's a reason that other vehicle is off the road.....you may be next! Oh, and the blue pickup off the road reminded me of the movie Twister! At least you got it out without the 'help' of a tornado! Love that movie!

I believe that "house" so close to the road was once a business. Probably a gas station or store, or both. Our "house" is a general store built in 1881 and it also sits right on the road.

At beginning of your video and mentioned Henry Town Road the church you passed on the left is Howard’s View Baptist Church. My grandmother on my father’s side maiden name was Howard and her grandfather donated the property for the church and the graveyard at the top of the hill. My grandparents were charter members of that church and very active leaders until they passed away and are both buried in that graveyard along with my dad who passed away in 2019. When I was young I attended many services in that church when there was no air conditioning and no padded pews and services were very long. After you passed the church the first road sign to the right is Hurst Hollow and there were four houses on that road. First one was my grandmother’s brother, second my grandmother’s sister, third one my grandparents and the fourth were the Hursts. When I was young all of Henry Town and Hurst Hollow was gravel. My dad was in the Army so we lived all over the States and in France and Germany when I was a kid. After he got out of the military we lived in Nashville because he was transferred due to his job and lived there for several years and in 1980 I moved back to Sevier County and have lived in Sevier County since then. Thanks for the video it brought back memories. Oh Hurst Hollow and Henry Town is where I learned to drive as a kid when it was gravel. My dad and grandfather used to drive it like nobody’s business so to speak and never crashed. Parts of it over the years have been straightened out some.

My wife and I live on property where she grew up and it is two tens of a mile from where Dolly Parton grew up. My dad actually went to school with Dolly. She was a couple years behind him in school. Problem with cheap cams are they break so quickly. I have gone through 3 of them before I got my Rexing. Had a old cobra that eventually started corrupting the sd card and would randomly shutoff after a few mins to hour. Forget the next 2 but same issue, they would corrupt the sd card/wont write and randomly shut off. In my experience I had to replace them anywhere between 6 months to 2 years, and just went with a expensive name brand just so it wouldnt break from being in the heat all day.

Wandering how you can tow someone out of the ditch that obviously was involved in an accident that caused damage to someone's property without getting law enforcement involved. Where I come from, moving a vehicle involved in an accident without law enforcement permission would get you charges.

I'm in Florida wrecker driver...before I get in my truck I have my reflective vest on....GOD forbid something tragic happens. But things do...D.O.T..insurance..accident reports..lawyers all can work for you or against you.../..I have seen people go straight thru a accident scene..around police cars ..like there was nothing there...or when stopped say ...YOU better be careful your in their way! just give me the ticket ! From fast food to trucks and wreckers, quality has gone to crap and it does not matter what make or model or restaurant or the store of your choice, quality has gone down 90% just in the last few years. I am in the lawn care business and the quality of lawn mowers, no matter the make, the quality has gone to crap and if you think you're going to get something fixed because it's still under warranty think again. This is my last year doing lawn Care. Lower-quality is one of the reasons I'm hanging it up but there are other reasons also.

Why are mountain roads blacktopped? Between cars fluids that leak out and the rain, snow and ice, there is no way it could be safe for anyone. Those roads look like an ice-skating rink.
