Mandarin Translation: Charlie says Martin plays too well. Andy was like what plays too well??? Nik says no, he doesn't play too well, he plays too annoying. Essentially they don't enjoy playing with Martin. Its 6am and Nik pointed that he didn't want a Headache. Its not fair if everyone has played for hours and hours and is tired, and a fresh player sits down with juice/refreshed and started annoying the fuck out of you is my analysis of the situation.

Not the typical casino floor game where if you’re on the list you get to play . At higher stakes games are typically private because they wouldn’t run on there own someone has to set up the time and text everyone to come . If someone is unwanted gets too many complaints they stop getting invited. As a poker pro part of your job is to be likeable and have fun with the action players. If you fail to do so no more invite

I think the biggest problem is Feldman idealistic idea of a 24 hour poker stream. The first 17 hours was fantastic, but the last stretch was really a torture to the remaining few players trying to just stick around 4 handed to get over the finishing line. A better idea would be to have 6 new players going in at the 16-18 hours stretch to end the show.

I support the player walkout. Force HCL to make some hard decisions on how to run these looooong streams. 17 hours in and now you have a fully refreshed guy who already did a questionable walkout and will absolutely be loud and annoying. MMMMbye In my cardroom we had one guy who was so horrible for the game because he was literally a complete douche. He was constantly angling and badmouthing everyone. Many, many times he would berate a new player so bad they rack up and leave after like 10 minutes, never to return. The mgmt had threatened to ban him on many occasions but just never would. I aligned with the regulars that every single time he was seated we would all rack out and either play PLO Omaha (douchey won't play it) or just drive to one of the 2 other cardrooms nearby. I even informed mgmt why. After the 3rd time we broke a full table due to Douchey sitting down, they finally waited for him to berate a player in another game and banned him. I could never understand their logic for allowing him to play when several times I went to the poker5 mgr to point out a new player racking up after being berated. Is Douchey's rake worth losing new players? Really?

Not satisfied she added more sugar and then, I sh*t you not, she used the SAME stir stick that had just been all up inside of her mouth and stirred then tasted again. I saw her take to a customer and I came right behind to stop him from drinking and explained what I saw. Mgr was called over. Just said "Sorry, we will make you a new coffee" and walked away. Never even spoke to Rose. About a week later I se Rose walking by my poker table and the way she carries the food dishes she has her palm underneath but her thumb curled around the edge and, again I sh*t you not, her thumb is very visibly IN THE FOOD!! I took a picture and showed it to the mgr. He seemed irritated with ME! Last time I went there she was still there. I personally enjoyed watching and listening to Martin when he was on stream this week. I do think it was crappy of him to up and leave, but he did do what Ryan asked and stayed for another 30 minutes. His departure was looked on as much worse because of Nik and Santosh bouncing though. It is the players choice on who they want to play at the table with them it is their money so they can walk anytime they want to IMO.

It's a private game. That's why there is certain unspoken etiquettes u need to follow. That's why you will either get invited back or not. Obviously these players don't want Martin back. So if majority players don't want to play with you, you can't play. Or the game will break or no game. It's all up to the host.

Martin is a piece of work I’d be very careful around him he has a crazy history of crossing the line of table etiquette I don’t even want to say what I would do if I hit a big pot on him watch how he plays an ax from past tournaments and cash games. Not that I would ever play at these stakes but we all have mini martins at ours tread lightly with this guys boys!

No one does that. Poker was and always will be a game where one can stand up at any given point in time. All these bs ideas that benefit certain peoples wrong mindsets in an egotistical way are just toxic and redundant. You sound like an online poker sites ceo that wants to protect the "recreational player" aka FISH. Obviously just for the benefit of that player and the poker environment, not for the profit of raking everyone to death...sure :D

Its poor etiquette to leave streamed games early, especially while you are up. Some player lost a 60k pot and left up and they were tilted about that too. It is not really a good look to hit and run a live stream game.

Nik & Santosh pack it up to play at another game (Santosh did have an excuse as he told HCL he would be leaving early), Professor leaves, Pepe leaves, J Boogs leaves and Raymond but Martin is who gets singled out? I think people forget Martins first night this week he went in a couple 100ks to finally get in the black so it’s not like he’s going to not put money in the game, shut it down and not play any more hands ala Pepe, Raymond. Andy was the only one who didn’t mind Martin coming in like a true competitor! And Nik complaining about Martin giving people headaches is wild with all the noise he creates
@mark5071
@mark5071 Жыл бұрын
I thought both Nik and Santosh had said they would be leaving early, but that the other players weren't informed (but I could be wrong about that). I do agree that Nik complaining about Martin is a bit hypocritical. Then again, Nik is loud and punts off his money, which is a lot more favorable than someone being loud and playing good.

High stakes games have a tendency to be political. You wanna be invited back either as a fish or a nice guy. Those previous antics preceded Martin and they just didn’t wanna deal with him so late into the game. I’ve seen that happen in many private games. Trust me, if Martin bleeds chips into other players’ stack, they would welcome him in 24/7.
