The horse at the end was my horse at the time these commercials were running in the mid 80s to early 90s. His name was Bahim Hissan. He was often compared to Cass Ole, the Black stallion used in the movie, The Black Stallion. They filmed him rearing at the farm where he stood as stud, Shilo Arabian Farms, Hobart, Indiana. Then they superimposed that shot over a picture of Mount Hood for the background. Beautiful horse, who made beautiful babies. Miss him dearly.

I thought a Mustang would be more fitting and Americana, but I guess for the less discerning viewing audience, it doesn't make that much of a difference which breed of horse is used. Beautiful horse, nonetheless. Before I got into military memorabilia, I always wanted to be a cowboy when I was 2-3 years old.

My grandfather used to drink Busch every football Sunday when I would watch the games with him as a kid! When I turned 21, this was the first beer I drank and yes I waited until I was 21 to drink like a, “goody good boy”!😇😂

I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Japanese-American. 1993-94 was one of the BEST years of my life, and 1996 was pretty special, too. I have long thought that I'd live to be 48, and pass away in 2021. My Dad unexpectedly passed away in 2003, and life hasn't been as happy for me ever since (save an expected great 2016). I have long been planning for my 2021 funeral. I want it to be MUSIC-based. TV commercial songs, kid songs, Japanese kid songs, Christmas music, video games music, popular songs from the 1980s. These "Head For the Mountains of Busch" songs are definitely what I want to be played at my upcoming funeral. It takes me back to happier times. If I'm indeed in the final few months of my life, this is such an example of the memory I will cherish, during these last months that I am likely to live.

They need to start showing lots of other famous Busch beer commercials like this and many more similar to it on the Jumbotron at Busch stadium and maybe even at Enterprise center here in my hometown city of Saint Louis Missouri as we love our number 1 famous beer brewing company here in Saint Louis and they are a proud sponsor on the saint Louis blues hockey team but more importantly the saint Louis Cardinals baseball team. I know the fans would get a kick out of it.

In the late 80's early 90's I'm surprised Busch wasn't the top selling brand in the South. It seems EVERYBODY drank Busch down here then, I rarely see anybody drink it now, but then it was all you seen in everybody's cooler no matter if you were fishing, at a mud bog race, at a party, or at the drag strip.
