The British bands were good!!! I'm African American and I fell in love with TFF bc I would stay up all night watching video shows trying to catch the ones by black artists. So, I got a chance to see British acts that I never would have been exposed to like TFF. Music then was uniting the world and they shut that down quickly!!!

Everytime I see a guitarist or a bass player singing at the same time playing the instrument, I’m out of words. It is a hard work doing both things at the same time. Definitely I admire Roland and Curt. Two underrated musicians.

Priceless video....this was 2 years before it was even released, so this is probably the first time a lot of those people are hearing these iconic songs. 20+ years later and it's one of the most recognizable songs in history.

you know numbnuts, every decade is revered by the people who lived it. The 1940s are nonexistent. The 1950s are becoming that. 60s music is disappearing. even Elvis is feeding off and listeners on Spotify. 20-year-olds today are too busy listening to their own music that they’re going to revere 20 years from now to worry about the 80s. As great we may think it is, 100 years from now it’s going to be like us listening to sailor shanties. We know they exist, but we absolutely have no interest in them. People just don’t like antique music.

I haven't seen this for 30 years..The solo I did here on the night..I had to learn again for the album version of Broken. My first ever tour! As you can see I was very happy to be there.

I think having Broken fade into Head Over Feels is really good. I think it fits in with the song much better. Just like @ROT and ASSIMILATE this is my favorite version of the song. The GTC version is great, but this is my favorite.

I was born in 59, grew up with the music of the late 60's and 70's. By 83 I was married and starting a family, missing the early 80s, 90s, music. I am so glad to be discovering for the first time all that I have missed. TFF is a phenom. band. Please ... young ones ... keep you minds open to the music ... no matter what era it is from. The sand on the beach can be millions of years old, but you do have fun their don't ya?

Roland actually played rhythm AND lead guitar when I saw them in 1985 at a nice outdoor amphitheater one summer evening in California for the Scenes from the Big Chair tour. Roland, Curt, Manny, Ian Stanley and saxophonist William Gregory. It was like magic. It was like I felt high from the music/performance. TFF was my favorite band from 1981 to 1985. Still, I listen to their later songs, and some are good, but it's just not the same, and that's okay. Very talented guys.

Holy freaking hell, this is ridiculously cool. I mean, this was 1983 and they were doing mash up's...another reason why I am so glad I was born when I was, being a teenager during one of the greatest music periods in history is nothing but a gift. I went to see this band and many many others during this time and I knew it was great then, but seeing this now, it only validates why I always thought this band was great and cool! Oh, and Rolands Firebird is freaking beautiful

yes this was the time, when you go to a concert, hearing a band of kids say this is a new song that we wrote called "HEAD OVER HEELS" or SHOUT! or EVERYBODY WANTS TO RULE THE WORLD" and another band in the nearby city called, Depeche Mode or The Cure or Duran Duran saying the same thing about songs theyd written and are about to sing! Sometime you just wonder did it really happen?

These guys were a MUCH better opening act for Hall & Oates than Train, the band that's opening for them tonight! Only thing was, they did a shortened version of this song. I suspect it was because they were the opening band and had to cut it for time.
