I met my wife on New Year's eve 1985/86 and this song was playing when I first met her. It t will always remind me of the night that changed my life from luckless, poor college student to meeting the special person who makes me better than I am. This is my four leaf clover, indeed.

I would SO return to the 80's if I could! I was in my 20's then, so that was my era to shine, and I MISS IT!!!! Now I have a daughter who is 22 right now, and she was raised on 80's music - she loves it more than any other music! That decade's music is just the best. It has gone downhill after that. This was one of my favorite songs - and still is!

deep sigh! I may have been in an abusive, loveless marriage, living 500 miles away from my family, but if I could go back in time and switch out for the husband (and daughter) that I have now, I would certainly do that! The music would be worth giving up computers and cellphones! Ha! Ha!

*Trivia note* - Are you at all curious about where Tears For Fears got their name from? - Well, it's an excerpt from a quote lifted from American, psychologist, Arthur Janov's book, "The Primal Scream" in which he stated that the chief principal of his book was to reveal "tears instead of fears".

This song has special meaning to me WOW. It does not remind of a girl but just some particular training I was doing in the military. Had no radio or tv but we had some radio music at morning chow which was very brief. Chow was only 20 minutes so we had to chow down and get busy. But this and a couple of other tunes helped make the day even though briefly.
