Thanks for explaining the difference between the serum and elixir. My scalp feels so itchy if I don't wash, but then washing everyday dries my hair out. I guess I need to moisturize it, but I didn't want pure oil. My hair isn't as thick as yours, so oil makes it look greasy instead of just shiny and nice.

Yes the elixir is very light weight so it will not weigh your down like the serum!

I believe they didnt release it in stores because they didnt want to lose the money going into making products marketed towards naturals in the African American community and not get the return. I liked it though and now my fiance uses it weekly and he likes it

Lets not get sucked in by the package or commercials head n shoulders have been out for 30+ years and now because more black folks are embracing their natural textures all of a sudden they want to cater to us when they weren't worried about our hair care before.. so lets not keep tripping over ourselfs everytime one of these white owned companies decide to cater to us all a sudden. I swear all they gotta do is put a couple of black people in a commercial and all a sudden everyone is rushing to buy it they know how to market to black people we've been falling for the sh!t for hundreds of years smfh.. #wakeup # whitewashed...

I dont get sucked in by anything, I use what I want on my hair, when I want to because it's my hair. Secondly that's what's wrong with this world now, everybody want to be offended and hostile about things. It's all about tone, when addressing issues. I have been on this earth long enough to know that those who have cancelled me out will be handled in ways greater than I could ever handle them. I also know that in order to properly get my opinion across I cant just complain I must also present solutions. There are plenty of blacked owned companies treating our people just as bad as these white owned ones you just ain't witnessing it. You really are foolish, when Shea Moisture ( black own company ) started out, it was mainly black natural hair wearers buying their products and Shea Moisture ended up playing us saying their products were for white peoples and mixed people hair. Let’s say thank you to these other companies effort for including us at least. Shea Moisture said their products weren’t for black people 😦😦. Let’s stop complaining over foolishness

Da'Naisa Love it’s not that serious and just because a product doesn’t have black people in the commercial doesn’t mean it isn’t going to work for you. If it works for you it works I still use head and shoulders, but I haven’t tried this line. All those natural hair products don’t work for everyone and white people have curly hair too just like someone who’s mixed can have type 4 hair. If it works for them it just does. It’s not your hair at the end of the day.
