My CZ 457 MTR 20" just loves SK rifle Match, and my Anschütz 64 was the the same. And my Anschütz 64 cost me approx $150 back in the 90s.

I have both and a Walther UIT from decades ago. The Walther is my "go to" when I want to get really serious with hitting bulls.

I also have the same two rifles. My results at the range on the same targets mimicked your results. I also feel the same way about the two rifles, love the CZ and the Anschutz, even though twice the price. I also have a Kimber 82 that shoots right with my Anschutz. Thank you for the video! Jack

Greetings from Texas! I enjoyed your video comparing the Anschutz and the CZ MTR. The targets went about like i expected. I have a CZ 457 MTR as well as Anschutz 1727 F with a 23 inch HB and Anschutz 1710 20 inch HB. I recrowned my CZ and glass bedded the stock and it is much closer to my Anschutz rifles, but, the Annie's are much more forgiving overall. Thanks again for the videos, you have a new subscriber.

The Anschutz may be more forgiving on the target, but the CZ may be more forgiving on your wallet...

Why don't you adjust the 2 stage Anshutz trigger ?

The video shows you shooting left hand guns but the photo showing the guns side by side are right hand guns…you must have a good collection of Benchrest guns

@rickberg9011 I am shooting right hand guns. It is the camera angle and position. It is just the way the Longshot Marksman system works. I have 3 main rifles a 1761 Annie and 2 CZ 457 MTR's.

I'm thinking of buying a CZ457 but I don't know which barrel is best, its length etc. Also I like the Anshoutz it seems precise. I forget the Bergera, it seems capricious. Welcome! There are a couple of things here. I have only used CZ 457 MTR rifles. So I am not sure how they compare. As I have 2 of them I am a bit biased there. They are 20.5" or something. A lot of BR people like longer. I try to stay with a barrel length of 20+ but there is no object reason for my choice. I also like bull, or heavy, barrels. It is an ascetic decision though I like the MTR chamber and think heavier barrels tend to be more stable. Barrels are a bit of a lottery. Like rimfire ammo better barrels increase your odds but are no guarantee.

Feel good about hat. We have three mtrs at the match. All are terrible. 2200 is a great score with them.

My gun was sent back twice by the previous owner. I thought I could gut it and find the issue. Turns out we all have bad barrels. Can’t change that out for factory class.
