Sorry Andrew, it'll be a fortnight before Part 2, especially given the STUNNING weather forecast up here for this coming week, and a new garden that needs sorting! But I hope it will be worth the wait. Many thanks.

We'll probably adjust to a new reality of always keeping a 3 meter distance from everyone and still have lives. Because I don't think this bug is going anywhere for literally years. Which is of course not great news for some people who are at high risk. Social isolation for now, absolutely, but we can't social isolate for 2-3-4 years, most likely. It's a tricky situation.

I am tempted to watch now, but will save this for later this evening, something to look forward too, so for now I shall resist hitting that play key, otherwise I shall have nothing else left to keep me from slowly going insane. Your videos are my link to normality, and what means so much to me, that is being on the road. But, for now, I shall have to contend with talking to my cat, and watching my spiders. Ah those little pleasures in life. Thank you Andrew for making your wonderful and beautiful videos for us all to enjoy.

Andrew, I am so glad that you appeared in today’s feed. Hope you were able to stock up on staples prior to going over to the islands. With our (Italian)!COVID-19 posture we’ve been locked down since mid-March (gives a whole new perspective to the saying, “Beware the Ides of March.”), and will remain so until midnight on May 3rd (unless it needs to be extended another time). Your drive as the sun was setting was wonderful. Thank you so much. I ate supper (pasta with tomato & basil sauce) while you drove. I hope you enjoyed your pasta dinner. David

Dear Andrew, I watch you from Austin Texas, and I found you because I love videos from the Hebrides and the highlands, and I was so happy for you to return home to the Gaeltacht before no travel was possible. And it’s such a gift that you can spend this time of distancing and isolating in your hearthome, where you can go out your front door and behold the Hebrides, the land, the ocean the immense skies. As a descendent of Gaels, it is so deeply joyful to see someone who loves the land and the language, going home. Thank you so much for sharing your open heart and goodwill always, and in these times especially. warmest wishes to you and Dougal, Shannon

Just love Dougal, he may not smile often but he did look a bit embarrassed at the end when his understudy did the usual "thanks for tuning in" bit lol,

Good to know you're both safe and knowing someone is on hand if your mum needs anything. Looking forward to the drive up to the ferry, hopefully we'll be allowed to get back out and about sometime soon. Take care.

Hope all is sunny but not too breezy in the outers. Stay safe Andrew!

Hope you and Dougal are keeping well in these strange times Andrew. Thanks for this, nice steady chilled out paced video just what's needed to relax. Looking forward to my highland fix in the next one in a couple of weeks as I've obviously had to put my planned early April trip on hold for now. Best wishes.

Our Dougal was looking a little sadder than usual. You will have to give him lots of TLC to keep his spirits up!

Thanks for documenting that trip for us Andrew, lovely vid. Love the Nene Valley railway but never camped at Ferry Meadows. Added to the ever lengthening ‘When this is all over I’m going to........’ list. Hope you’re safe and well.
