Amazing car.! Loved talking with the owner about it for a while, about a month ago when I was at the nurburgring.. He said he learnt to drive smoothly as his daughter gets car sick so it was the only way to drive fast 🤣 Seems a great guy, I was tempted to ask for a passenger ride but felt a bit cheeky. Also saw you misha and said hello, love the collie I'm assuming was yours. All the best mate 👍

The 2002 always pulls at my heartstrings. Takes me back to the 80s when I worked with a privateer team with two of them. Spent a couple of years doing BMWCC races in the UK. Happy days indeed with a TII and a Supercharged version.

Hahaha thanks. For my 02Licious it was quite strange to struggle on overtaking some cars. Later that day I discovered it's distributor was fried. (if you listen carefully you will hear the misfires). I took it home and put it on the dyno where I work. Only 135 bhp was left ... After I changed the distributor it was putting out a whopping 186 bhp. It will be a nice weekend in the land of ring ... Cheers

This brings back memories, my dad owned a 2002 Touring Turbo when I was little. I threw the temper tantrum of the decade the day he told me he sold it lol. He said he was scared of the thing, the previous owner had done lots of stuff to it so it did around 270 HP on the wheels. Yeah it was definitely scary lol. The brakes were probably stock. 😂

Haha I knew this guy was Dutch way before he said it. For the 5 years prior to BS19 I was in the Netherlands 4 or five times a year (only about 20 total days there). Great country great people if you have never been go. There are lot's of west coast beaches there Zandvoort is especially nice I go there for a full 7 days every June, or did now we have BS19 and I'm free and 100% human so I can't travel.

If Holland is below sea level, and has more oxygen due to the slightly higher air pressure, does this mean that no one yawns in Holland? Seeing as apparently yawning is about low oxygen levels, this must mean that no one in Holland should know what a yawn is, do Dutch people yawn? Does this blow the doors off the myth of yawning being about low oxygen levels? I think it might do, unless Dutch people don't yawn. 4:25 (I was born in Rotterdam but I left when I was three so I can't remember) Edit to add, nice car!

You're right. Timing was off big time due to a fried 123 ignition that day. The engine was down some 60 bhp. Happy to report it's a pocket rocket again. Cheers
