Thank you for sharing. I am researching for home remedies for receeding gum for a loved one. I can see she is really worried and feels there is no solution. I try to keep her upbeat and positive. Me having no clue I do not want to give her false hope, but after watching content like this it helps. Thank you and thank you to everyone who has shared their own experience and treatments in the comments section.

If your gum is red and sore or infected, use sea salt and or himalayan salt at least a tea spoon and a couple of drops of oregano oil and clove oil added to it, swish around the affected area for a minute at least several times a day, then mix water and turmeric powder and apply to the teeth for 5 minutes and rinse off, it has reversed even a quite bad gum infection for me. Coconut oil pulling and massaging is great to care for longer. Ultimately reduce consumption of wheat and sugar to a rare treat to help with dental health.

Always check the ingredients of the salt you use. Morton salt, for instance, contains dextrose, a simple corn sugar that leads to tooth decay and high blood sugar, the main reason for adding the dextrose is to feed the addiction to overly processed faux foods.

Hello guys. I had _that_ problem and it worsened about 14 months ago but I did not quite pay attention to my dentist's advice on the matter. To cut a long story short, it was a bit too late when I restarted my treatment and a panoramic X-ray was needed. Then a splinting of 1 loose tooth. Nothing really worked. This massage technique can help save the remaining of my teeth, I hope. Now I am taking care of 2 additional ones as well. Take care of those teeth as soon as possible to save your dental pieces, my friends.

@@Bunny11344 The one with the original problem is still there, but dentist refused to continue treatment without prosthetics. I got a second splinting (with a different dentist), and everything seems normal, but I am most probably getting a maryland bridge on just 1 tooth in a few months. The 2 teeth around the damaged piece are ok, so it is possible to have the bridge done. This second dentist is more flexible than the first one. Cheers.

When peelings are nice and brown and crunchy, take them out to cool. Then run them in batches through a clean coffee or spice grinder. I noticed an instant whitening the first time I used it. i just started oil pulling two days ago. i only swish for about a minute when i wake up and after i floss at night. i still see a huge difference compared to using toothpaste (much fresher breath, less daily plaque buildup, and my gums are way more pink in just two days). why bother with 20 minute marathons if that's only going to make you avoid doing it? all the benefits are cumulative and will still fully present over time with consistent practice - i still have to wait to see if the two sensitive points on my teeth get any better and if my receding gum line recovers

Many in the US simply can't afford the dentist. Anything that can help regenerate or protect teeth and gums is a godsend. Here they are very high tech and often bungle partials, root canals, and older methods. I use a wash cloth with a bit of peroxide mouthwash and have stopped abrasive brushing. Gum massage sounds very helpful.

It is really amazing to hear but I doubt it works for all types of gum problems? The reason for this is because I did oil pulling with coconut oil in past for about 20 to 30 days but did not see any result instead my gums damaged more than past. Now my lower gums half of it receded, I consulted multiple doctors, they recommended me to get surgery done.

I'll try it, as I have problems with sensitive teeth, specially after eating any sour fruit (orange, grapes, pineapple, even apricot that is not sour at all) and the worse is drinking any kind of wine, but red is the worst. Using sensitive tooth paste but after all it seems just temporal solution.

Thanks for the beautiful smile of yours, Dr. Vivek. Perfect timing to watch your video as I am currently experiencing gum pain. I know it's due to receding gum. Tried OTC topical pain cream. Not much help. Frustrated as I am, I tried gargling/ swishing my mouth with warm water & Himalayan salt. I felt relief. If I can help it, I would rather try other alternative remedies than making a dentist visit, as i hate the thought. I will only go if worse comes to worse. Dr. Thank you for sharing your wisdom & knowledge, valuable & helpful TIPS.

Use xylitol! Put a a table spoon and swish between the teeth and around your mouth for around 15 minutes. It taste like sugar but it feeds the bad bacteria and kills it. Spit it out once you are done. Do it twice daily if you can. You can mix it with some coconut water. Use some baking soda when brushing your teeth. Make sure to floss your teeth and maybe use a water floss.

Coconut oil and CLOVE are the two single best substances for healthy teeth and gums. This is well known in holistic circles. Also, Natrium-Bicarbonate otherwise known as table salt is the number one thing to use after brushing, either to rinse or a quick after-brush. You see, the true enemy of teeth is acidification of the biotope in the mouth, causing tooth decay and many other issues like receding gums. Sugar is a main cause of acidification but in general all food and drink will gradually acidify the mouth, with for instance fast food causing it more severely and quickly than say a glass of water or a salad. But to counteract this acidification is the key secret to healthy teeth, gums and mouth, and table salt is the best remedy to achieve it all and every day. Of course, himalaya salt or other salt will have a similar effect, but I've noticed best results longterm with table salt. Used to have severe abcesses though haven't had a single issue since daily use of table salt and of course coconut and clove. The coconut is in my all-natural toothpaste and the clove is soaked in water, the water used to rinse.

@@sanchitmehta2275 Place 4 or 5 cloves in a glass of water, set it next to your toothbrush. Let it soak in. When you brush your teeth, rinse your mouth thoroughly with that clove water. Do this every morning and evening when you brush your teeth. With one full glass you can rinse about two time, once in the morning and once at night, then refill the glass with new cloves and water for the next morning. Make a daily routine of this. It'll keep your teeth and gums healthy like nothing else. Good luck.

It sounds as if the purpose of the oil in the mouth, the neem etc, is to kill off bacteria that is causing any gingivitis. The massage can temporarily increase blood flow to the gums. But in cases such as gum recession caused by incorrect brushing methods, and an absence of gingivitis, can such things help _that_ gum to grow back?

@r.1599
@r.1599 7 ай бұрын
@@TheCardsSpeak You're talking about gum/periodontal pockets, where the gum has pulled away from the teeth. If gum has pulled away from the teeth so a periodontal probe (small instrument with mm markings on it like a ruler) can measure its depth at 4mm or more, it's time to start paying attention. No need for me to Google it, unfortunately I'm aware of how it works. I had gum pockets of 4 and 5mm caused by a lack of consistent flossing. I started flossing with a water flosser twice a day, and the pockets shallowed out to 1mm. However, in some areas, gum has worn away because of incorrect brushing, as well as post-surgery. That is what my question was about. Thanks for the information, though. I know your reply will prompt someone's curiosity so they start investigating for themselves.

False! A massage does NOT cure dental recession. An ACIDIC MOUTH is the source and one needs to change their nutrition to alkaline foods (strawberries, spinach for example), do coconut pulling for 30 minutes daily, consume 5mg of Xylitol daily to rebalance your salvia pH to alkaline! Each time you eat, your mouth gets acidic. So after every meal take a xylitol gum/mint for 15 minutes, and then brush your teeth. Xylitol is a natural sugar (from birch tree) that dries out the bacteria that feeds on the sugar you eat from foods which causes cavities! Xylitol protects your teeth and gums!
