Really wanted to try out healing so tried shaman and I found I was always chasing after my healing because it wasn't doing enough, but this guide is perfect, i heard holy is the easiest and I really struggle with instructions and learning and the simplicity in this is what I needed! Thank you! 🥰

Thanks mate. The interface tip was so helpful. Came from FF14 to WoW and was main healer there so I wanted to stay healer in WoW too. I'm playing as druid and my first dungeon was the one in the video as well. Primarily due to the interface I got so damn confused. Glad I found this video. :'D Hope it'll go better from now on.

Super useful -thanks! But I have questions!: What does the "Nu..." stands for on the key binds? (Number pad?) -and why are they in their own little group? And what are the "c+number" shortcuts? (Control?) Are they damage spells?

Those are just my keybinds. You can press escape which will load the menu, then select keybinds. Click on action bars and you can bind more keys to it. I binded my numpad numbers (Nu keys) and ctrl+1, ctrl+2, etc

Yeah healing is actually so hard, I did exactly the same dungeon on my first ever priest and I sucked but my teammates didn’t blame me but deep inside I know I just sucked so hard at healing :(

How can I get my UI to look like yours? (With the bags/options on the side and bars in the middle? Would love a clean look like that. Mine has gargoyles and stuff on it. Thank you for the video!

Side bars is in the interface options under actions bars, tick stack actions bars on right, then go into graphics settings and drag UI scaling to the smallest setting. For bags you can use an addon called bagnon. To turn off the gryphons/gargoyles, download an addon called leatrix plus and in that you'll have heaps more settings you can adjust. Hope this helps

does the Tauren racial "brawn" (Critical strike bonus damage and healing increased by 2%.) Increases the amount healed by the critical procs from my "Mending Bandage" and the critical heal procs to my pet with "Mend pet" ??

I am yes. I hotkey most of my spells. However there are some healing addons that let you keybind clicks and mouseovers etc. I personally don't use them but many healers swear by them haha

By default you have to click them. However you can make a mouse over macro but you need to do that for each spell or use a healing addon

Yes the average wait time for tanks and healers are a lot less than damage.

I'm new to wow and I'm a restoration shaman. I have honestly zero idea of what I'm doing and tried a dungeon but failed so miserably. Now I'm kinda too scared to try again. I was able to heal some of the others but I kept dying and it was all chaos 😂 i dont seem to have spells as powerful as the ones you have there tho

Try keep earth shield and riptide ticking heal over times on the target and use healing wave. Drop healing stream totem often too. Watch some shaman healing guides and see how you go

Yeah you don't need to worry about doing damage as a healer.

I agree. Lots of guides say that holy priest is bad because they don't help with dps much, for example. Healing can already be hard enough without having to multitask.

@@raganark4214 I hope so. I even considered changing to disc priest just for that reason, but everyone says disc is much harder than holy to play well, so I'm going to try other healers like monk first until I get better at healing over all.
