+Ayham Saeb A friend of mine gave me the gift of rapture 16 years ago, I popped out of my body, experienced 100% The Shekinah Glory, and it's all been down hill since then. People who go beyond and back live changed lives but we never have here what we experience there. Caitlyn Jenner won the Gold medal in the decathlon, she can't ever go back, some of us have pinnacles and then kind of drift into obscurity.

I started listening to this for self-esteem but ended up playing this every morning doing yoga. I enjoy the gentle guided voice that carries me into the calm, non-intrusive music. I end my yoga sessions with a sitting meditation so the music fits perfectly with my routine. A lot of other yoga or meditation music has too strong a melody or instrumentation. Or a voice too distracting or scary for whatever reason. I also listen to Tibetan chimes which I play when I do chores or work on a project. It's up to each person to find the right video for what you want to achieve.

Felt a bit upset tonight, decided to play this video. I tried to meditate and be present. But my mind was wandering and I’m glad it did. I felt a strong sadness wash over me. Shed a few tears. Then I realized I am grateful for this experience. For this body. For this mind. I’m glad I get to experience this life through myself. Life may not be amazing. I don’t love life but I love myself.

I normally just kick off my shoes and listen to my breathing for 20minutes once or twice a day, done this basic meditation on and off for years, this was my first guided meditation and can report it shut down mind chatter rather quickly. Reading comments would suggest that some rate this highly whilst others think it sucks, clearly it's mostly down to what one is already familiar with and any voice and music outside what they are already comfortable with may grate against their heads some. I listened to two meditations - one after another - so my head was relaxed nicely thank you very much.

this was so unexpected for my brain, I was expecting a guided meditation. I got tingly, finally, after a year of meditation, I get tingly for the first time. I get in my body. I get connected to the body. The body never lies. My body is really tense, is holding on so tight. It seems frozen, constricted, That's how I felt it.

Interesting how releasing negative thoughts from the mind can stimulate a feeling of calm happiness and a general tingling all round. If you've been having anxiety attacks, there's a way to never have another one as long as you live. First, you've gotta believe what I'm about to tell you. Just tell yourself. " yea I'm gonna die" And really mean it. Accept the fact that you are gonna die and loose that fear that's had such a powerful grip on you. Look at it almost like you welcome it. ( death) Once you do that, the fear " will" leave you and you'll never have another anxiety attack. If you feel an attack coming on, don't fear it, just sit down and start taking slow deep breaths. I hope this will help someone. I haven't had one in over 30 + years.

@Orion3G7 жыл бұрын
I'm not afraid of death so that doesn't really apply to me, i'm more afraid of life itself. Life is filled with pain and suffering, trying to climb your way up just to fall back down again, and for what? We all die at the end so I see life as a game you'll never win, so what's the point of trying your best to play in a game you're bound to lose? Death is probably just nothingness, how bad can that be..
@plumeria667 жыл бұрын
Sm0k4bl3 I'm the same way. Try saying to yourself "I'm willing to face suffering and pain" over and over. It worked for me eventually and now I don't panic as much.

I have learned that my sexual performance anxiety was caused by an unhealthy lifestyle. I didn't feel good, and this led me to question my ability to perform at a high level. But now I go to the gym, eat right and use a penis health creme every day. My body is full of vitamins and endorphins, and I feel strong, confident and healthy. My sex life is finally back on track.

kim smith I have terrible PTSD and Depression. For years, I was unable to cry and had to work for years to learn how to cry again. I realized that I was actually stopping myself from crying. After such a significant trauma, I found when I first started trying to listen to Peter Levine and Jon Kabat-Zinn cds, I would start to cry, have a panic attack and turn it off. It takes a lot of time to get to where crying feels OK, you can cry, and you don't feel so uncomfortable with crying. We are taught not to cry by many people in society even at young ages and through severe traumas. However, crying is normal. Simply release and see if you can allow yourself to go ahead and cry. Your brain and body hold traumas in them that you may, or may not, remember. Your brain and body need to cry when you tear up. Release the tears. They release toxins.
