Fifteen years ago I got some sort of . . .bacterial or viral issue. . .it affected my gut and my vagus nerve (I had no idea such a thing existed at the time) that wound up from my stomach to my collar bone and into my cranial nerves. It was horribly painful. Then it got into my lymphatic system, another thing I had never thought about, because we don't here in America, and I developed huge knots behind my knees, inside my elbows, around two spots on the sides of my ankles, of course the groin and neck and behind the ears. I suffered. I was very very sick. I lost twenty pounds. I had migraines -- I think from the crainial nerve irritation all the time, then I couldn't swallow I think because my gut didn't want the irritation. Long story short -- these people know what they are talking about and keeping the vagus nerve and the lymphatic system healthy is a god send. you don't have to wait until you end up like I did. This information is life changing. And doctors have no interest in it because there is no billing item number on their billing chart not to mention they do not recommend self-care for insurance reasons. Hope my story helps someone else -- do what Dr. Perry says

I really do hope my story helps other people to take care of themselves because when it's broke it's hard to fix and American medicine is very oriented to "proof" and billable actions like prescriptions and tests. His massage techniques are a game changer. I defeated chronic fatigue/adrenal or hpa axis dysfunction in 3 days with everything else he talked about. Feels like I'd have knocked it out even faster with his massages. But 1 note on hydration. You can over do water. Instead add things to water including; apple cider vinegar, a lemon, magnesium powder, prebiotic powder. And drink bone broth on its own. I also made a tea out of cercumin + ginger + black pepper a touch of olive oil. That's 6 ideas and you ought to drink at least 8x per day. Your body will get nutrients while you hydrate. Good luck all

I'm so glad this guest came on. I can't tell you how much this means to me. I took notes and will follow as much as I can every day to heal my nervous system - have had several severe neuro symptoms for 7 mo, too much nervousness, temp. dysregulation, tears, insomnia, no appetite (drink shakes). I'm thinking that just maybe my appetite will come back eventually with the stomach massage. I'm glad you said to massage the stomach even if you don't have pain. Drs kept telling me its just my thyroid and I told them no as it wasn't precipitated by trauma (I've done lots of health research, and of all the videos I've watched through my research to get well, this is the best video out there for me I believe). The antibody test was normal and the Neurologist was surprised. At least now I have hope. I'm super sore below the collar bone and have been for so many yrs that I haven't even dared to get a massage because it hurts when I lay on my stomach, now I know what to do for it. Thank you - what do I owe you? You even encouraged me to start doing yoga. You made my day!! I'm crying tears of happiness right now!!!

This thing looked like a dagger abutted to my C1 shredding my jugular and vagus nerve. I feel so much better from the surgery. After a lifetime of chasing what was wrong with me it finally came down to this. I’m better off for the journey of learning all the things. I found Dr Perry looking for lymphatic massage. The body work and working on my vagal tone is the next key. Thank you for this information. This is for someone out there. Styloids are becoming an epidemic because of the face down lifestyle. They need to teach people about EQ. They need to teach people about breath awareness. They need to teach people about emotional regulation …they need to teach people self soothing techniques..meditation..identification with thoughts and learned behaviors ..yeh human conditioning…that the brain can change if we observe..and learn techniques to calm the vagus nerve…Mind is alway one foot on the gas and one foot on the break and it’s exhausting..the body keeps the score..I do massages ..yet I need one every day yet …. A massage helps 100% …my body is tense and full of knots..hyper vigilant…trauma brain..yet I keep learning…

I've been struggling with Vagus nerve issues choking and coughing then sneezing for years and my docs just shuffle me from one specialist to another. I will try your techniques at home and see what happens. My docs NEVER even talked at all about the Vagus nerve, I got info from a nurse practitioner and my sister who is an RN. Maybe do a show on how doctors only use blood results for a yearly or bi-yearly physical. I think it's poppycock, but that's what they do now. Doctors almost never touch you anymore either. I live in Germany and we have relatively good healthcare, but this is what I have seen over the 15 years of living here. I will try these techniques Dr. Perry N has given us and see what happens. My comments were about grounding or earthing for 10 minutes a day with your bare feet on the Earth. It reduces inflammation it resets the Vegas nerve. It sucks the static electricity out of the Vegas nerve. Anyone could look this up on KZbin. I hope my comment is not erased again.. I see it's here, so I'll edit it. .I hope people read my comment. Take their shoes off and run right outside and put their feet on the ground. And no one has to tell you how to do it and you don't have to wait for someone's response, Nor pay someone to teach you how to do it and your insurance doesn't have anything to do with it.

Such a great interview. I am sending to everyone I know. Dr Perry is so good at explaining things. Hands down, This is one of the most helpful videos I’ve ever seen. Big thanks to u both. Please do more and if he can help someone with seizures, that would b awesome. Concussions also. Oh, and urinary incontinence on sneezing.

Thanks for this great informative interview. I suffer so much with digestive issues, amongst other things based on this I'm sure l can make improvements at least. I've been breathing badly for years and my body is practically rigid with tension that I've just lived with every day, its time to make some changes!!

I think I may have found a new home - or at least a place to rent for awhile. I was told not to move because of severe spinal stenosis. As my some of my endometriosis adhesions broke, I did gentle ab exercises; trying to envision fluid circulating in my spine. I guess I popped a cyst exactly where one source of imaginary pain had sat for 25 years. I swear that the ab exercises started a hella loud noise in my spine where a belt would be. It freed up a trapped nerve. Really. My right side relaxed. I almost fell transferring from bed to chair (I used the normal amount of effort to move my leg and the leg raised up to waist high. Whoa, Nellie!) Of course, no doctor believes me. I will keep watching this man. I will keep chair dancing. It sounds like it is OK. Thank you.

I have watched endless hours of healers. In this one episode, if one should apply what Dr. Perry said on a daily basis, i can see how a radical change should occur. I wonder if he has a video where he goes through the whole daily routine, with the stacking. Then i can send it to the grandkids !!! Maybe some guardians of the galaxy music #1. 😊

Thanks you so much to both of you fir this jmportant info. I had Long Covid last year and ahingles this year. While I have somewhat recovered enough to find work, I am still looking for ways to get back near the level of fitness from two years ago. While I do some lymphatic draining work, this is a very comprehensive way to do it. It's so simple but not a lot know and do this.
@ourhealthpath Жыл бұрын
Yes not enough people know about the lymphatic system and it’s important in health and healing. We hope it helps with the next phase of your recovery!! Let us know how you get on!

Honestly, this video is life changing. Can you get a herkimer response from activating your vagus nerve? I have neen stuck in fight or flight for more years than I can count and I truly believe the techniques in this video has helped me start healing. Thank you so very much.
@ourhealthpath7 ай бұрын
You can certainly feel worse before feeling better, it’s not technically a herxheimer reaction though. You might experience a ‘mobilising’ take place if you’ve been stuck in a freeze state for example.

I think this may be the missing piece to my healing process. I have chronic inflammation due to mycotoxins which has caused celiac disease and hypothyroidism.
