Ayurveda identifies three main constitutions which are called Dosha. This knowledge helps one understand how their body works. Of course there are crossovers depending on what percentages of each Dosha are present in the body. It's then a Doshic profile. Easy to understand and follow if one is seeking a natural path to health.

I stopped sugars, anything with grains, and cow dairy, that made a huge difference. Then nightshades, starches and then veggies. Now just high animal fat, butter, meats and eggs. Unfortunately I have bone spurs on my cervical spine that affect my nerves giving agony down my arms. Changing my diet stopped the inflammation that triggers the nerve pains off by swelling my neck. Now I’m trying to work out other ways to improve my posture, nerves etc.😊

Doing the fermented foods thing messed me up too. It’s been over a decade and I’m still struggling because excessive fermented food consumption caused SIBO which is seemingly impossible to get rid of besides never eating FODMAPS and a whole lotta other foods. I’ve taken all the supplements combined with removing the FODMAPS but if I eat an avocado or some onion now and then, it’s back to square one, yikes.

I’m listening to you a lot now. I have stomach issues….all my life. I’m 66. I’ve been told by medical intuitives that I have leaky gut. It appears I have too much stomach acid but no I don’t have enough stomach acid to break down many foods, I’m blood type A+ and I don’t eat meat. I’m recently experiencing real stomach pain. I’m real active walk 10 miles a day, ride my bike, do budokon, weights. What am I missing ?

It’s hard to say. For myself, it was the tongue posture, ensuring my mouth is closed when I sleep, overall alignment from head to pelvis, and vagus nerve-focus that really moved my own needle.

@@loridickinson4930 I generally like to do breathing stuff, slower breath out, with my tongue sealed to the top of my mouth (especially in the back/mid tongue), all through my nose. Little circles with the lightest touch behind my earlobes or down the sides of the neck is nice. Qi gong has really helped me, solidly puts me back in parasympathetic. I also do this thing when I’m alone, which is an audible loose/ flapping-lipped light trill- sort of noise that feels like a full-body sigh. Relieving! & quick. Anything where we can hear our own native sound is soothing/ activates VN, and rubbing my hands together also seems to instantly calm me down. Unrelated to VN, but related to your tummy, have you been tested for how you methylate nutrients (See mthfr/ how it relates to belly). I now use methylated b vit. and TMG supplements, and it’s helped a ton. Cheers 💞 to your feeling 100% again!!

My notes: Dr Perry had to heal himself. The gut speaks to the brain and vice versa. Most supplements can’t be used by the body so start simple and easy. There’s no such thing as an isolated injury. Immune system lives in your gut. Nerves: your gut is supplied by nerves (autonomic). Sympathetic nervous : when you’re stuck in flight or fight your stomach slows stomach acids and problems arise: Constipation , gastric reflux,etc. nothing heals in fight or flight.
@YouButter5 ай бұрын
You have a right Vegas nerve and left Vegas nerve. Signal for blood flow comes from the brain down. Balance out the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system by breathing exercises, (he talks about the diaphragm contracts to move organs around). Breathing helps the vagus nerve by stimulating it. Sympathetic nerves comes from the thoracic spine, manipulating and massages help. Upper thoracics they send the sympathetic upwards. Posture matters! Keep mouth closed, keep tongue roof of mouth. This aligns for better blood flow. Gut massages works really well. Lymph actually helps kill leaky gut. Gut and lymph go together. Sphincter or valves (doorways) are in the gut. The valve going into your stomach could be stuck opened: Sympathetic dominance can cause this. Humans usually have low stomach acid. Ppi lowers gastric acid even more. Stomach acids break down protein and protein keeps us alive. You do not want protein floating around in your body. If one of your valves are messed up it can cause problems with all of them: bacteria, parasites, fungus. Your gut is only going to work better with a conscious daily effort. Just doing supplements and exercise it’s not enough to get back to health. Massage the abdomen. Explore different techniques: just don’t cause pain. Get a round vibration massage ball and turn it too to massage the abdomen. Do the naval too, lymph gets stuck there. Stay well hydrated. Once you get yourself fixed then take your supplements and nutrition and get ready to really feel good. The muck in your body from dead cells leaves our bodies from pee, poop, sweat. Keep the muck moving with better posture, massage, breathing out longer than breathing in, keep tongue to the roof of your mouth. 😃
