Health anxiety video notes:
1. the inner child has a goal achieving mind (protection), if a new goal is not presented often it will revert to its original goal.
2. The inner child would rather call upon self mutilation than directly face and resolve unresolved feelings based off of memory that gets stuck in the body.
3. The only time a negative emotion can harm you is when it’s stuck in the body.
Answer: An intention to directly communicate with the inner child’s ideas when needed is key, with a level of emotional intensity that can get the new message across.

Key point for me was the need to express rather than suppress my emotions… I’ve spent most of my life suppressing my true emotions, words just coming out of my mouth telling complete lies; eg I feel fine ( when I don’t) I love my job( when I don’t) I love you ( when I actually mean I need you) etc

I’m dealing with heavy imaginative stories that are all negative ... I get really depress and anxious.. my body reacts to it and I start to walk off balance especially at work . I feel as though someone is pushing my heels up and then I start to feel lightheaded. I notice what works is belly breathing , challenging the thoughts and I keep telling myself “ I’m healthy” which I am no bad news from the dr after my physical. It’s seems to help a lot !! 🙏🏻🙏🏻😁thank you for encouraging and feeding us great informative that works. I love your channel xoxo

I feel that a very important truth of this video was "stay focused". I discovered your channel on this platform a few months ago and have been poring over your podcasts, videos and Masterclass since. I used to madly search for relief, ideas, anything that would help me calm down. To settle on just one has brought me so much clarity, hope and confidence that I am on the right path. I have done Inner child work in the past (decades ago) and had forgotten how valuable it was to make peace with her and use "Emotional Intensity" to interact. Again, thank you 🙏

Thank you! At this time YOU have moved ahead in the coaching for health anxiety because you have had the form of health anxiety that comes from the trauma of dealing with a scary medical diagnosis. You are healed and helping others based on the knowledge of what it’s like to experience the trauma of dealing with the aftermath of medically treating something that’s REAL- not something suspected causing anxiety but something diagnosed. That’s huge. I looked for a YT teacher who can provide wisdom with strategies to help me feel safe after the successful treatment of a life threatening condition. You are doing an awesome service!💛

I think I have it together, and then anxiety hits me so hard. I feel so bad for my husband who tries to understand and love me. He needs a stable wife, but I cry all of the time. He is a sensitive, gentle soul who loves me, and I get scared of him because of my childhood. My mom taught me to fear men, and my dad wouldn’t allow laughter. I don’t like that I can’t laugh out loud naturally like others. I read your book. I get confused on how to download zip files, so I’m not having any luck in listening to your teachings. I spend money when I get anxious like spending it on the program. I freeze up when I try to figure not just the program’s zip files out, but anything for that matter. I am a frozen mess of anxiety, and I don’t know who to talk to. Please say a prayer for me if you read this. I am sure I will feel fine soon, but the anxiety demon strikes hard out of nowhere.

I love your facial expressions 😁 My inner child is little 3y/o me. A situation arose that wasn't my fault but I got in trouble for. (My trauma) In that moment my trust in myself was taken away and I wandered around lost for 30+ years. Now I look at that little girl, tell her she was right in that moment. I pick her up and hug her. I reassure her that we are safe. It's OK to live. It's OK to trust myself. To believe myself. I don't have to live like my parents did. Scared and afraid of the world. And it's working. My boss just resigned which means me and my team will be getting a new boss. And I'm not afraid. And there are many other moments where the old me would have been terrified and I'm not anymore. Thank you Dennis! ❤️

Hi dennis thanks for your help. I try my best everyday. Some days are better then the other . Work is stressful and i constantly have this fear of change… but also not doing anything makes me feel depressed… and this video made so much sense.. im scared . Im scared of what happened in my past and how i reacted or had to and how people took it. Speciallt having hard parents. Constantly hard on myself . Im on a healing journey now that im older and sometimes i find myself wanting to go back to that “ safe place” almost like why do you want to do this. Its not safe.. and ill freak out which causes panic attacks… but looking at all of it its just my inner child being so scared of the unknown and knowing about things that happend then… like having anxiety developed into health anxiety i used to google everything . I went from drinking tablets when im sick or have a headach to now question every little thing cuz im scared. But thanks for the video. I know it will get better and that God is also in control.

Greetings from Greece 😊... Could fear of anxiety be considered health anxiety?? I fully understand that my physical symptoms are due to anxiety but that doesn't seem to be enough to calm me. I sometimes don't even realize that I am stressed or anxious until symptoms show up and then I have to think a while about what might have triggered me but once I start with the symptoms I seem to be anxious about anxiety itself... Anxious about anxiety I guess🙄

Hi Dennis! First off I want to thank you so much for these videos. You are an angel! I had a vestibular attack 10 months ago and from that point on I remained very dizzy. @dzhulyettamoreno8627
@dzhulyettamoreno8627 Жыл бұрын
Most of techniques Denis teaches work for PPPD. The brain retrains and starts to filter the rocking/moving sensations once there is no fear attached to them. Also look for sense of balance in your body, or whatever else you want to feel. What we focus on, we get more of. Just really wanted to share this as I have been dealing with vestibular migraines and PPPD for some time and this approach is a miracle. The sooner you start the better, just wish someone told me sooner and don’t want anyone else to struggle longer then needed.
