I have had anxiety since I was 13 years old. It causes me to have very little confidence in myself. Recently, it has caused me to have issues in my new job. I have failed my two inspections because I can not remember everything I have to do. And the anxiety of my supervisor watching me doesn't help. I have a tendency to be very harsh on myself. I always say things like "I am stupid," "a failure," and "I hate my brain"

This spoke to me so much and the tools you talk about are the opposite of what I was doing to relieve my anxiety. You have given me hope. I will institute what I’ve learned. Thank you!

I agree 💯 percent with you! I noticed a huge improvement when I stopped all these things. Sometimes I just had to sit with it. Surrender to it. That was a huge step.

If the thoughts are unconscious, then you are not aware of them. You are not conscious of them.

Negative thought: when eating food sometimes feel like food gets stuck in my throat and think I am choking. Question: is this an unconscious thought or conscious thought?

This is also my story. I wake up every morning with great fear, some days more than others, but eve-ry sin-gle d-a-y! I don't even have time to think about how I feel in my body, because the awful feeling of anxiety it is automatically there, no thoughts needed! But then, of course, the crazy monkey starts to try to manage the situations in its hundreds of ways: meditate, breath, exercise, try to be present...

5 Things I Did To End My Anxiety: 1. I began taking my unconscious thoughts less seriously. 2. I stopped the hyper fixation on recovering (nit picking every little thing I was doing throughout the day). 3. I kept it simple in a world that looked to make it complicated. 4. I committed myself to being more decisive in my decisions (less willpower used). 5. I stopped trying to MENTALLY navigate the whole anxiety recovery journey. Bonus: I slowed down. *Notes from latest KZbin Video. ❤️

The attitude of gratitude. Start keeping it simple. Use the KISS method. Keep my mind busy with tasks. And be decisive in every decision from now on. Thank You so much for your help. tomorrow begins a new day to shut this nonsense down.

Committing myself to decision making and learning to FEEL different not think different resonated the most! it is amazing how much better our thoughts become when we do the things we know make us feel good.

I felt very uncomfortable too, feeling anxious as if I was going to die, feeling like I was on a boat, my body felt unfit, I was unhappy, I didn't feel enthusiastic and happy, I lost my attention and happiness, I was empty, I lost my motivation and I was weak, tired, I have no energy or energy, my vision feels strange, like I'm in a dream, and I feel like I'm not at one with my surroundings. Are you like that too? Oh yes, I also always tend to check my body condition, such as nail color, eye color, phase color, and when I want to have blood pressure I'm nervous at first, afraid my blood pressure will be high and in the end it will be really high, I'm curious about other people's illnesses and always search for symptoms of disease on Google. . All of this was due to the sensation of feeling anxious which was very uncomfortable and felt like M. It all started with me suddenly experiencing panic as if I was going to die within a few minutes of my anxiety. I hope to return to normal life.

Thank you for this video. I had been having episodes of anxiety and panic which made me feel out of control. Listening to your affirmations for anxiety and saying them with you made me believe I needed to stop fighting the feelings and start observing and going with my feelings. You made me feel like I was safe and normal. I will use your video often until it becomes second nature to believe all of your affirmations about myself. Thank you for caring.

Omg....what you just spoke about is totally me! I have had anxiety, my whole life. I have been anxious about everything I have ever . I just thought that everyone was like that! My ego centered mind has always taken the lead. I have always listened to it. It never occurred to me that I didn't have to listen to it. I have a masters degree and have worked professionally for over 30 years. I went to work every day with lots of anxiety. I always tried to hide it from my coworkers. A light bulb moment for me. Thank you Dennis so much.

These videos bring so much peace to my mind. I’ve been struggling with constant unsteadiness/dizziness for about 4 months now and even after medical tests came back normal I still have felt so much anxiety about this scary symptom. Will it ever go away? Am I actually okay medically? But hearing you talk about it and explain it and give tips about it calms my nerves almost more than anything. Thank you for all you do! I will overcome this one day!

Unconscious idea. Is this bodily symptom connected to an illness? should I get it checked or not ? This crosses my mind all the time. After losing two very important people in my life within a month I started having these thoughts very very often … I’m trying my best to come out of this fear of living. 🤍 I’m happy I found your channel through a friend. Thank you ….

I cried listening to this. I was doing good for 5 months my mum was with me. I was eating all meals, very little anxiety. Now as she left everything has come back.. I have lost appetite, I lost 1.5 kgs in a week and now that's an additional worry for me. I am trying so hard but I know my one reason is I can't be alone. It's 7 in the evening and I am already in bed. I used to do 8km walks when mum was here now Incant even get myself to move. I need to get out of this. I need to live my life

In addition to this powerful meditation, I have been reading Letting Go, the pathway to surrender by David R. Hawkins. I believe they support each other well. Does anyone know of a support group that meets routinely to discuss this subject in more depth and works together to let go in every aspect of life?

I’m a little confused because you’re talking about unconscious ideas, but the definition of unconscious is that they’re not conscious. If you’re aware of them, then they must be conscious. They might be springing from unconscious fears, but I don’t understand what you mean by an unconscious thought. I always appreciate your videos, and I want to understand this. Thank you.
