New sub here! Thank you so much for making your content! You are so informative! I have always had a somewhat unhealthy relationship with food. I’ve done a lot of different diets. I recently lost a lot of weight on a certain diet (not saying which). I was tired a lot and unsatisfied a lot of the time, but dedicated. I decided to track my calories and I was eating anywhere from 700-1000 calories a day while running 6 miles a week, walking 6 miles a week, as well as walking up to 5 miles daily at work on average. I recently found your channel and I LOVE the balance. You cook nutrient dense food without restriction and I love you advocate for that as well! Everything looks so good! THANK YOU! Hi Cambria! I have a question I’ve been wanting to ask you. After finding out I had hypothyroidism and then turned to hyperthyroidism, a passion for nutrition grew. So I decided to take a course through NASM to get certified as a nutrition coach. And I know you mentioned before you are certified. Did you ever felt overwhelmed by all the information? Im barely starting it and its soo much and sometimes I feel inadequate. I’ll read one lesson and then forget the next day what I read lol😬 Definitely have been praying to God about this and it seems as if this is the direction He wants me to go. But man, theres alot that can distract me or things that come up and then dont finish a chapter or what not. Anything that encouraged you during that season of you becoming a nutrition coach?
@CambriaJoy2 жыл бұрын
Ahhh Mariana I feel you with the overwhelming information! It is a big course. If you feel God is opening the door for you in this area I’d say just take it one day at a time and don’t get discouraged thy you forget the information. Take the quizzes a LOT. Take one from the chapter you’re learning from each day to refresh your memory. And don’t focus on being perfect! That will trip you up. The first step to accomplish anything is the belief it can be done, you CAN do it!!!! Don’t let the overwhelm stop you, I had to go through it with baby steps too! One day at a time!! 🤍🤍

Love this! I've been curious about the way you store your eggs, and the eggshell powder prompted me to ask this time! I keep reading that eggs should be refrigerated after they've been cleaned, because it opens the pores allowing bacteria in. That said, I know that some people keep their eggs at room temperature, and are obviously fine! Is this just recommended for people that use their eggs quickly enough? I feel like at my house we take too long to use them, so they'd have time for bacteria to grow. Anyways, just been curious about that! Love all of your fall theme videos! I'm seriously getting into the autumn vibes this year!
@CambriaJoy2 жыл бұрын
So glad you love it Rachel! Interesting! I personally keep them out on the counter as I bake regularly and need room temp eggs plus we go through them so fast, if I were you I’d pop them in the fridge! I like cooking and hearing people say they enjoy my food! But I absolutely HATE dishes afterwards! Lol

When you say “skur” are you talking about siggis yogurt?

I think so too but interested to see if others have the same assumption

Haha i was so confused. But i looked it up And I’m pretty sure it’s just pronounced how it looks. The creators name is Siggi and he pronounced his name like it sounds🤷🏻♀️ idk tho!

Love cooking, but didn’t really grow up watching Food Network. I was more of a Trading Spaces on TLC girl! Or the traveling channel 😂

Haha I love it Whitney! I never watched either of those!! I love it, I wish I would have watched the traveling channel 😂 always fun to vicariously live through it 🤭

Waterfront Hy-Vee has a video about this line of yogurt. You might learn there how to pronounce it. Just type in "Siggi's yogurt pronunciation" and that video will pop, where she talks about this yogurt.
