The reason the kCal content of the Chick Fil-A salads are so high is because of the toppings and dressing _(and also the ''protein'' choice - the fried chicken strips have more fat and carbs in them than the grilled chicken option)_ For example, - The Grilled Market Salad w/ Grilled Filet contains 540 kCal, and from that 540 total, - The Zesty Apple Cider Vinaigrette Dressing contains by itself 230 kCal spread through 19g fat, 15g carbs and 0.2g proteins. Remove or change the dressing and you can reduce the kCal content down to nearly 310 kCal that includes 12g Fat, 26g Carbs, *_28g of proteins_* When McDonald's still offered Salads _(seems they removed them since 2020!)_ I'd often go with the Greek Variety, Grilled Chicken, and go for the Balsamic Vinegar dressing - it was very rich in proteins, moderate in fats and low in carbs, on top of having lots of fiber. Most of the fat and carbs were in that dressing, but that dressing was the ''healthier'' dressing out of all of them, with the Caesar dressing being the worst

You can usually (depending on the location) order beef patties by themselves. What I'll do is order a McDouble (McDonald's cheapest burger) and 3 or 4 additional patties on the side. Still not an ideal meal but works in a pinch.

Chickfila and Chipotle are by far the best fast food options. You can also do an unwich at Jimmy Johns or protein style at in n out.

I absolutely love this video! I think fast food is so confusing about what’s healthy and everyone assumes vegetarian options and salads are always the healthiest which isn’t true. I also eat Chick-fil-A a lot because I’m really busy and let’s be real it’s delicious. My go to order used to be the sandwich meal with fries and a sweet tea and I would use Chick-fil-A sauce. I now order just a water and a sandwich with no sauce and I’ve lost weight without even trying or feeling deprived.

Although I didnt' eat fast food alot, I do like having it every once in a while. I did have the grilled nuggets and the fruit salad as well a week ago, it was so good. ``A McDonald's 'solution' I use sometimes is getting two Hamburger Happy Meals then put both burger patties on one un to make it a double burger, I choose the apple slices instead of fries and get milk instead of a soda, I feel pretty good with this meal, and it's filling.Taco Bell used to offer a 'fresco' version of their foods, which was only made by special request as I recall, this means they leave off any fat-filled sauces, so it's just the basic ingredients.

Would love to see a video on smoothie restaurants like Tropical Smoothie Cafe or Smoothie King. So many of them are 500 calories of sugar and people think that they’re really healthy.

The calorie count on the salads at chick-fil-a include the chicken nuggets, dressing, and tortilla chips/peppita seeds. If you are doing the salad alone, you’re probably around 350-400 calories. I travel for work a lot and these salads are one of my go-to. If you add the nuggets and a healthy dressing, you sit at around 600-700 and it’s much more filling than their sandwiches and/or nuggets alone.

Thanks for the reminder on the salad. Those cals are for the creamy salsa dressing and all the toppings. I used to get the fat free balsamic with the Southwestern salad but will definitely be rethinking this as the toppings are 150 cals for those strips and pepita seeds. Not worth it in my opinion. I have been along for 5 patties and bunch of bacon strips every time I go to a fast food… Month and half and drop 18 lbs🎉 No bun, veggies, cheese…oh and water😇 My body and mind was so use to ice cream, and all of this SUGAR and CARBS…NO MORE🎉 I work in Dairy Queen by the way, and ice cream is delicious…BUT IM HOLDING ON EVERY DAY!💪🏽😎

A Chick-fil-A salad calorie count is a bit excessive, but keep in mind Most of that comes from the dressing. If you change your dressing, you can keep your salad around 400 calories.

Most of the restaurant salads are very high in calories. They almost slways add nuts and/or, bacon avocado and a lot of fatty dressings...

I wish I could set this up to play everytime I click on DoorDash. Some of my go to while traveling though are Wendy's grilled chicken sandwich meal with a small chili or Taco Bell grilled chicken soft tacos fresco style. Power menu isn't an option for the hours I'm usually going.

Not enough fat and too much sugar and carbs, your body doesn't have calorie counters, it has hormone receptors, not only glucose (which all sugars and carbs are broken down to) triggers insulin but also protein, insulin can be good as long as you don't ingest more carbs than you can burn in a day... I wouldn't take food advise from this guy but his workouts seem to work 👌

I'm so confuse about what to get from Taco Bell. I work a crazy crazy schedule in a hospital. Some times I won't eat lunch til 3pm or even later. And that's going into work at 6am. Taco bell is nextdoor. Other fast food is on the other side of the freeway. Traffic is horrible and I have at least an hour long commute. So Taco bell is my only option for a late lunch.

I’m sorry, respectfully, but if you are perpetuating these as “healthy”, you are misinforming the viewers here. A double burger from McD’s? With a processed bun and ketchup?
