Magnus. Next time you cook your steak do this: Cook it just like you did. But when it is done, wrap it in foil and let it rest for 10 minutes. Then make your salad while it rests. You will notice a huge difference in the steak. 🤙🏽 Greetings from Florida.

I have a great, speedy tip for prepping chicken in advance for my quick meals. I buy a large tray of boneless chicken breast or thighs from Costco. Then I prep the entire tray of chicken, season all the pieces and bake all of them on an aluminum tray in the oven at 425F for 20-25 minutes. I then remove the tray of chicken pieces, let them sit to cool and place the entire tray into the freezer so the pieces don't touch. When frozen, I put all the pieces of chicken into a plastic baggie, date it and place the bag full of chicken back into the freezer. When I need baked chicken, I just take a piece from the baggie, microwave it and add it to my meal. This is real quick and I have nicely baked chicken when I want it. This can be done with fish as well.

I like doing it sous vide. Bag all the chicken, take out the air, drop it in water with an immersion circulator (theyre relatively cheap these days) and then set it and forget it. PERFECT chicken every time heated to the exact temperature and held there. No evaporation.

I'm glad you mentioned the importance of buying organic when possible Magnus. I volunteer at a marine mammal rescue and one of the big problems is that pesticides from agriculture end up in the ocean via runoff water. These chemicals can make marine mammals and other ocean life very very sick and even kill them. Of course organic groceries are hard to find or afford for many people but if you can, go organic for the marine mammals :)

Your videos have really helped me to further understand my body and eating. So thank you so much for your videos and information you have given! I have polycystic ovaries and I unfortunately have to work a bit harder than others to shift weight. People forget that nutrition is so important, because it’s fuelling our bodies. I unfortunately fell over at the height of my weight loss journey and then when I got back on track we went into lockdown, when they closed all gyms in the UK and I did gain weight as I lost focus. Nevertheless, this hasn’t stopped me and for the past month got back on track. I put myself onto a PT course to learn more about our bodies and function and also the mufti on side of it. I’ve got my goals and I will get there. I’ve got to loose another 3 stone and I’ve hit my target, where I’ll review it again after reached. I think the big thing for me was nutrition, as I didn’t find it hard training. To anyone seeing this… don’t give up… keep going! Thank you so much again @magnus

For the blend packs, at Costco they sell 2 that I love to eat together. First the rice, quinoa, and garlic blend pack, and second the lentil and kidney bean blend pack. Microwave them both at the same time for 90 seconds. Dump the rice/quinoa blend in a bowl, pour the lentil/bean blend on top, then add a copious amount of Cholula hot sauce (also sold at Costco) on top. It's a great dupe for Cajun red beans and rice and it's ready in 90 seconds. You could add Costco's rotisserie chicken on the side to make it like the healthier meal you showed.

I eat cauliflower rice..I cannot eat grains either as it spikes my Blood sugars. I find other high protein low fat and carb channels use very high carbs. Love your recipes as I can fit it into my keto recipes. I use mung bean or black bean pasta.spaghetti. 50 grams 7 carbs. Whats not to like. Just subscribed to your channel.
