I have anxiety, and Marth Stewart's backlog from the 90s is so calming. Also, I absolutely love the thoughtfulness of the snacks' presentations. I hope many kids still receive a parent's thoughtfulness and encouragement in their lives like this; it goes a super-long way.

From someone who has had anxiety all her life I’d like to share what really helps me…Buy a small spiral notebook, about 3 x 5 or 4 x 6 and sit down for a few minutes and write down something that you can’t get out of your mind. You might even have 3 or 4 things. Then work towards handling them one by one. The reason for writing them down is so your mind doesn’t have to have these things constantly spinning around in your head. If you think of something you already wrote down, you remind yourself to relax because it’s already written down and you can forget it. hope that makes sense. I have found this soooo helpful throughout my life. I’m now 69 years old and retired from nursing. I have been a single parent for 29 years. I thought my anxiety would go away after I raised the kids and didn’t work anymore. But guess what? It didn’t. It’s how I’m hard wired. I still have my little red spiral notepad to jot down my “anxious “ list. I scratch each one of them out as I take care of what I perceive the problem was. Take care ♥️

OMG What a mother. I remember my first day at Private school. I was just 5. That was 73 years ago. I had a little tin lunch box and not knowing anyone I walked down and sat under a small tree. I was happy to unpeel my egg. After that I had boring little sandwiches. Back in the1940s I never ate my lunch again. How lucky to be Martha’s daughter. It’s got nothing todo do with money. It’s imagination. Bless Martha. ❤️

@colt T Sorry but no, Ina has to comes in second place! Martha was here first long before Ina..Who under stripes and came from nothing. Martha built a multi faceted empire and her career took a beating and she still soared above and beyond and I think Ina comes close, but she’s not quite the same... Ina Garten and became the Ina Garten we know today because of Martha Stewart recognizing her on an episode of her show back when I know ran the barefoot Contessa.. So I think even Ina would admit that Martha far surpassed her

This video was made 10 yrs ago … wow …these are creative lunches . My kids got packed lunches all the way up to high school , until grade 11, once they got part time job money🎉 they didn’t want packed lunches every day. They bought two, I made three lunches. Today as adults, they brown bag three days a week to work. It’s healthier and cheaper to pack your lunch. I missed doing these for my children . Today so many parents send money with them to buy lunches . no …no…no… teach them about healthy options . My kids had great memories of my surprises in their lunches . Can’t wait till I have grandchildren….I will help out making their lunches . They best live nearby so I could pack two days lunches for them , their parents can do the other three lunches.
