Craving for something healthy and delicious that's sure to satisfy your taste buds? Look no further than these amazing vegan tofu snacks! These crispy and flavourful vegan snacks are made with two different cooking methods: waffle iron and air fryer, so you can choose your favourite. They're packed with protein and nutrients, making them a great addition to your diet. And don't forget to pair them with this creamy vegan tzatziki sauce for some tangy indulgence.
These easy-to-make vegan snacks are perfect for any occasion, whether you're having a party, packing a healthy lunch, or simply looking for a satisfying snack to enjoy at home on Game Night. They're also a great way to introduce tofu to anyone who's new to this versatile plant-based protein.
For extra flavour, try adding your favourite herbs and spices to the tofu before cooking. You can also experiment with different types of vegan cheeses and sauces to create your own unique flavour combinations.

Vegan Tofu Snacks Ingredients:
Waffle Iron Healthy Vegan Tofu Snacks:
130g (4.58oz) Extra Firm Tofu
½ tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
2 tsp Za’atar
½ tsp MSG
½ tsp Salt
Air Fryer Healthy Vegan Tofu Snacks:
130g (4.58oz) Extra Firm Tofu
30g (½ cup) Vegan Cheese (grated)
¼ tsp Black Pepper
¼ tsp Salt
½ tbl Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp Ground Flax Seeds
2 tbl BBQ Sauce (if you want to make these fully keto, use a keto-friendly BBQ sauce, or see the pinned comment for alternatives)
½ tsp Black Seeds (nigella)
4 tbl Mixed Seeds
Vegan Tzatziki Ingredients:
1 tbl Vegan Cream Cheese
160g (⅔ cups) Plain Vegan Yoghurt
2 cloves Garlic
1 whole Spring Onion
2 inch piece Cucumber
¼ tsp Black Pepper
¼ tsp Salt

Welcome to my kitchen (lab?)
My channel is you watching the results of my 2am thoughts of “I wonder what would happen if I put A with B?” The answers lean heavily towards cake, and my ongoing quest to find a good meat substitute. I’m a vegan that loves animal products, but hates what’s involved; so I’ve dived headfirst into a rabbit hole of different plant-based textures and flavours. These are often the 1st time that I’ve tried a recipe, and I’ll talk you through why I’m using the ingredients and what I think happened when things go wrong.
Grab a vessel of whatever makes you happy and enjoy, but be warned; it’s messy here sometimes!

Chia Seed Crackers: kzbin.info/www/bejne/enecp4OGgb-lfqs Recipe notes and tips: - Could the darkening colour on the air fryer ones be from the BBQ sauce, rather than the mix itself? This will be something to keep in mind next time I try the recipe. If so, it means the temperature can stay at 130 or 140 - If you want some extra zing in your tzatziki, add a squeeze of lemon juice. This may alo help if you can only find sweetened plain yoghurt - Stir the dip before serving if making it in advance. Because of the salt, you’ll notice some as the juice gets leached out of the cucumber. You could also firmly squeeze the shredded cucumber in a tea towel before adding it. This will squeeze a lot of the juice out of it. Ultimately, you’re chucking away flavour, so I never bother - Keto alternative to BBQ sauce; mix 1 teaspoon of ground flax (or chia) with 3 tablespoons of boiling water, mix well, and then leave for 10-15 minutes. This will form a gloopy mixture (also known as a flax egg) that will help bind the mixture. You can then add things like smoked paprika, onion & garlic powders, and even some sweetener

Personally I prefer chewy snacks over crunchy snacks, but this snack still looks like it might be good.

I think if you do the air fryer ones at a lower temperature, you'll get more chew than crunch
