thanks for vid! i have a standing desk-the sucky part is that im sure its both my SIs that make my legs weak no matter how much i strengthen. and yeah my si dimples, ass and hips hurt w sitting. i find sitting w legs under me helps sometimes.

I have a bad habit of sitting on one foot! This explained my pain

Thanks for the video Chris! I don't have this type of pain, but I started to drink lots of water while working so I have to get up and go to a toilet every 20-30 minutes. This helps a lot!

I have sacralization of l5 on right. And i feel my right side elevated and the weight comes extraordinarily on my left SI joint. I have pain in my left SI joint. Have to resort to crossing legs frequently for ensuring comfort

Dr. Chris Sovey thank you so much for doing this video. It was really helpful. I was in an auto accident in 2013 and I was dx with SI joint dysfunction and pubic symphysis dysfunction. Everything was getting better then just a couple of months ago I started to have to realign my SI joint again. I do it about 3 times a week now. Any exercise you can recommend to tighten this again or strengthen the area?♡

the serola SI joint belt and a firm mattress for sleeping have been a godsend. as well as sleeping on my side with a pillow between my legs and icing at the first inkling of inflammation. of course ibuprofen helps, but i can't take that all the time, so i reserve it for when the burning is intolerable. mine is completely triggered by sitting, especially on soft surfaces. once a full blown flare up happens (by that i mean the burning pain from inflammation), it takes weeks to recover. it doesn't seem like it will be stopping anytime soon. i'm in a seemingly endless cycle of flare ups. i'm not sure what else i can do to prevent :(

Nothing has helped. I had L5-S1 fusion five years ago and now have pain in my hips. I was told I'm a "sacral sitter."

You nailed it for me. My SI joint pain became chronic when I was working long hours at a desk and unconsciously slumped and crossing my legs. Wondering if you recommend a kneeling chair for SI joint pain? Thinking the structure will literally prevent me from slumping and leg crossing, which I always forget once I get involved in my work....

Yes, not severe. I learned to stretch. Placing palms flat on counter or bureau, and bending so back is flat, feel stretch in back of legs for only 30 seconds. Surprisingly it relieves some pain. Question? My husband injured his tailbone, and has trouble sitting, he stands alot.. any suggestions for relief..

I have a lot of pain and was diagnosed with SI joint pain. It hurts so much that I can't walk for very long so I'm using a cane. I'm certain it's from sitting in front of my computer screens for hours on end every day. I do have a stand up desk but also have difficulty with mid-back pain when standing in one place. I get horrible shots of pain when I'm walking at times. I also have numbness in right right leg when standing for a while. I'm a mess! Any suggestions to speed along the healing process? Thank you Dr. Chris.

I have sacrum pain when i deadlift and only when i deadlift in 15 and have always had this pain and its drfinitly right in my sacrum. Could it be caused by this fusing you talked about when becoming an adult?
