Hi, Etsy needs a bank to deposit the money you make from your account and for you to pay them if you own them any fees. I recommend getting a business checking account. YOU DO NOT WANT TO USE YOUR PERSONAL ACCOUNT. Keep your Etsy (business) finances separate from your personal finances. This video talks about the best bank accounts for small businesses. Etsy does have an app that will allow you to manage your shop via your phone. However, I recommend doing the shop setup on a Laptop or pc. You may be able to do the setup on your phone but I have not tried it so I'm not sure if you will run into an issue during the setup process.

Because of this you have to say if you want Etsy to "Automatically" repost your listing and charge you the fee. Or if you want to "Manually" report your listing after someone makes a purchase. Nothing is scam proof but Etsy has put measures in place so you know when it is them contacting you via Etsy messages. They use a 3rd party service to add your banking information. I also recommend using a business bank account to connect to your shop, not your personal account.
