But I'm definitely thinking about joining your challenge. I haven't been actively trading for awhile so more than likely start small for 6 months a year 300 500 shares an of course defiantly moving towards joing the team I think it's good to be around successful traders.

I don't use Robinhood for day trades much.. but its an asset for options trading. My executions have been really good on Robinhood. In fact today it executed my limit order $18 more than what I put my sell order in today. I primarily swing trade my options though.

one of the reason people have trouble cutting losses is they dont have 25k in their account and don't want to waste away one of their day trades

U nailed it, when ur under pdt rule cutting losses quickly might mean cutting ur losses a min after entering the trade, and when u only got 3 trades in a full week , ppl wanna make the most of it and it’s y they have trouble cutting a loss right away, saying all that tho u still gotta take ur loss quickly because if u don’t ur gonna have bad habits when u reach 25k

The reason why it’s hard to cut loses quickly *sometimes* is being limited by PDT. The 3 trades a week limits how much action I can take. I don’t let it stop me from cutting loses quickly but I can see why it can poss a problem because then you use up a day trade.

You could trade it as a cash account and get around the PDT. It just requires smaller sized trades.

I don't trade penny stocks, but I bought one share today just to see if I was right on a set up I thought I recognized. I decided going in when I would get out if I was wrong. It wasn't doing what I thought it'd do so I got out and wound up 2 cents ahead. Immediately after the stock went down 3 dollars, so for practice I found out I'm good at cutting losses, but bad and recognizing a set up. lol. I might stick to trading blue chips. Or keep trying. It's interesting.

How the hell is this dude loosing $300?? Thats inpossible. How much size is he putting on a single positon. $10,000 position with just a modest 5% loss $500. If hes trading listed low float stocks it can easily be $1000 loss. Help me to understand. Im a puzzled UK trader. How you gonna short 10,000 shares on 5.35. Putting about 50,000 dollars with 500 dollar risk. Thats 1% risk. Thats B.S....that stop is too tight. Its easy to get stoped out! This sounds ludicrous. If he said 5-8% stop above resistance it will be realistic.
