I was at their concert in Oregon. One of the Greatest Live Rock Bands Ever. I can still feel the ringing in my ears and the burns on my thumb from holding the lighter up for an Encore. What memories! What a Fantastic Experience see Heart Live!

In addition to this music and these musicians being my favorite. The Little Queen album cover is my absolute favorite of all time album covers. Whoever the person(s) that are responsible for it's design and concept deserve an award. The music (combined with Dreamboat Annie Music) and the cover tell a story that is big screen worthy. IMHO....A star is born X's Eight (8)

Yep. They all got fired by 1980 except the drummer who quit in 1982. That was a huge mistake.

I saw this original line up in Hampton, Virginia in the summer of 1977. I've seen the band several times since, nothing matches the original line up with Fisher, Fossen, Derosier and Leese. Ann Wilson is my spirit animal. 🖤

Love these old videos. For this concert Ann's not in the best voice, at least not like most of the older concerts I've seen. Still great footage though.

I disagree. Ann sounds fantastic. The difference is that on this footage, the actual recording quality,/audio was not as good. Ann’s performance and vocals were fiery and inspired, but sound “less” because of quality. I wish that the lighting was better (at the venue in 1977 and with video production at the time). But thrilled to have rarities unearthed.

Please relisten to the bridge carefully. Remember that Ann never mimics what she originally lays down. Those vocals are AMAZING! “You’d better shiiiiiiiiiiiiine”...amazing. If it was popped up in the mix, it would be mind blowing. I like the overall balance in production tho.

@@manxuberglider8 It’s not the sound quality I’m talking about. There are several clips from this same concert that the Fishers have posted, and for this concert Ann’s voice wasn’t her best. It’s more obvious in the Barracuda clip where she’s way flat on almost all the high notes. It’s not a dig at Ann that this one concert wasn’t her best - it’s still better than most singers. It may just be that I’ve heard her live so many times in my lifetime that I notice things that others might not. Take care.
