The mighty Mulloway and the bold black jewfish. The only difference is the rear edge of the tail is straight for the Mulloway and the tail on the Black Jew is a diamond shape. Two great fish Starlo.😀🎣👌

I’m from Sydney but go down south towards St George’s basin often and regarding your friends jumper. Whenever I stop at tackle world Nowra I always leave with a smile. Very friendly group of guys there and also an awesome shop! Last time I was there was right on closing time, I think on Good Friday just recently.. when everything else was shut for the day. Gee that was so convenient to be able to buy a couple of things I needed and some bait before heading down to the basin for the weekend. And now Back to the video I go :)

The Mid North Coast Longtail Tuna run has been on. Myself and a fishing buddy have been heading to a local Breakwall, a fair bit up the coast, from Forster. Anyway yet to land one, just developing a love for these resplendent fish. Have two photos of one caught three weeks ago and one yesterday morning by other anglers. Both times I stopped fishing and went to watch it all go down. They were both around the 12-15kg mark. We hit the Breakwall early and have as yet come away empty handed. Have however been getting a few Tailor and the odd Bonito. I think just watching these, let’s face it, expert land based game fishos go about it is exciting enough. I’d be all thumbs trying to land one. Ha!😮 stay well Starlo!

Excellent video mate. I bought a couple of packets of Squidgies some years ago and they came with a little S Factor tube each. They always did. I was at BCF a few weeks ago and noticed they no longer have that tube of S Factor in the packets. A sign of the times i suppose. Top video, great content. Cheers 😀

There like chasing big Murray cod I reckon here in qld, once you start targeting just plus size fish there’s so many donuts in between but man it’s worth it. Throw in catching them on your own handmade lures and your a sucker for punishment.

Hi there starlo what was the heavier combo rod as I want a new or have any suggestions for a rod I’ll be using the rod out the boat for snapper or salmon that sort of thing?

Hi! That slightly heavier outfit is a Shimano 2500 Straidic FM reel on a Shimano T-Curve Premium 722 Light Spin rod. Nice rig!

Hi Starlo is that colour braid on the light stradic crystal colour if so 4 pound I have 10 on my 3000 I can’t seem to find that colour in 4 pound I like the braid quality in the 10 just can’t find 4

It’s 4 pound Power Pro in white. I’ve had the spool for a while so I’m not sure if it’s still available? Should be, though.

Yeah, aside from the Briggsy-style "Eeeew!" I don't have a problem with the dialogue.. two mates putting out a bit of banter is better than complete silence in a video.
