It might have, but it might also have just taken a recruit anyways. If he had not played around MCT it would be a 50/50 chance of getting a recruit over something more useful. But yeah it did look pretty suspicious considering the guy consecrated with an ogre magi in hand later, suggests the only way he got ahead was through sniping.

Trump, are you ever worried that the player you're up against will recognize your name and then quickly check out your stream while you're playing? I mean... how good could that paladin possibly be to know to throw away the minion to avoid mind control tech? Seems pretty messed up.

Cassiano Canossa No, that was an obvious snipe (stream-spying). He has two 1/1s on the field, why would he play around an unlikely card when there's only a 25% chance for it to be bad? The only time you should really play around MC Tech is if you are pretty far ahead, and only that card could cost the game. However, throwing in the guy and lowering value is not a good play unless you know for a fact the opponent has MC Tech. Most Hearthstone players that play on a regular basis know Trump, so he gets sniped a lot.

Cassiano Canossa He was definitely sniping, seeing that he went above three minions several times during that game, and completely changed his tactics as soon as he saw that trump had drawn a mind control tech.

I just rewatched again and he goes up to 4 minions every chance he has up until that point of the Mind Control tech draw. That turn he even made an extra 1/1 guy for no reason if he was just going to throw one away. It really seems like he was watching trump and that there was a delay. He made the extra guy then seen the mind control draw and then killed his extra guy. Seems plausible to me. The alternative is that for the vast duration of the game he didn't play against mind control tech and then at the process exact perfect time he decided he should start playing against it. Which seems more likely? Pretty obvious answer to me.

At 5:13 it says 8.33% chance of 2 knives 2 kills, but I think that is incorrect. I calculated the probabilities and couldn't get that answer either by taking into account the rng on the kodo hit or calculating knowing that the kodo hit a 1/1. I believe the correct probability of the juggler killing a minion with each of his two knives is 16.67% (calculating after the kodo hit a 1/1) or 31.11% taking into account the random kodo hit.

The probability of "2 knives 2 kills" should be (1/3[kodo hits golem] *4/5[knives avoid face] *3/4[knives avoid face]) + (2/3[kodo hits a 1/1] *2/4[knives avoid face and golem] *1/3[knives avoid face and goloem]) = 1/5 +1/9 = roughly 31.1%... though I could be wrong.

that situation depends really. i personally was playing my druid in ranked had fuegen and stalag on the field, enemy had 9 cards in hand and i attacked first.. I find that in general Trump overalues late game at the expense of early-to-mid game, which most of the time is the period the game is won or lost in. You can quite regularly go 7 wins plus with a rogue deck which values most highly clear and early to mid game pressure. The only great weakness of this strategy is Mage, as ever.

It's different for different classes, Rogue generally prefers to pull ahead early and win quick, Warrior is a much slower class (most of the time) and his deck in this case was fairly high on the mid-range curve that he had to play for value which meant dragging the games out.

LastZepp1 I said Warrior not Warlock. But yeah for Warlock you generally want to go for a zoo-style deck or a demon heavy deck with voidcallers.
