I just want to point out that this collection of "Quest Warrior" includes 1 match where trump completes the quest, loses, and then two other matches where he mulligens the quest. At this point he might as well be playing mid-range warrior since it doesn't seem very questy to me.

Only problem I've ever had with the deck is lack of early game plays. I cut Dirty Rat for Public Defender, which is better in almost every situation and counters aggro really well.

The warrior quest might not be so bad when you actually try to complete the quest. I believe the quest card is a bit more useful when you don't keep it in your hand.

Moral of the story: use this math equation in order to determine how good a card is on a 5 star scale basis. X = number of stars trump's given to a card for its rating Y = Card's star value 5 - X = Y for X =/= 1 If X = 1 Then Y = 5

Trump was right though. The Jade Rogue deck I've been playing has been crushing Taunt Warrior and the other Jade decks probably have a decent chance too. It's just that no one is playing them.

depends on type of taunt warrior... if quest is finished before turn 10 then jades struggle, but not all taunt warrior decks tend to do that... at least half of the deck should be taunts to manage that consistently...

quest isn't bad against rogue. I've seen warrior win based off completing their asap. Taunt will not save you as they apply minimum pressure, rats and turn 7 sulfuras, double fishes or drake fishes is what wins games against quest rogue. Brawl isn't gr8 as most of the time only take down 2 out of 3 minions.

Small sample size and all but going by these games it really looks like the quest is kinda 1 star still. It was a dead card in two of the matchups and there was so much trash in all of these games that the hero power was just kinda meh - the weapon was more useful. I'm starting to think taunt warrior could be a deck - but just rip out the quest and maybe some of the other questionable cards like Direhorn hatchling and simply replace it with late-game or early game depending on the meta. Heck maybe even protect the king + bolster! Now there's something I thought I'd never say but boards are getting really big so it may finally be worth it.
