The bangs/fringe emphasizes your oval face, which the most preferred face shape. So basically any hair style or hat will look great on you. Get pretty witchy clips, hair spray or styling gel, and have fun. Your second pronunciation of Tabernacle was correct.

A Witch Alone is a reprint of the awesome book from Marian Green that was a must read back in the 90s. Highly recommend and is available in the UK now

I have similar bangs. Use a large roller when hair is damp, remove when dry and ruffle it slightly and usually it should sit well.

Some interesting books for me as a beginner witch. Like the look of the Almanac's, Slow Magic, Folklore Magick. I bought the Tarot Made Easy book by Kim Arnold that you recommended last month as I've just bought my first tarot deck and I needed something to help me learn it. bangs look great!! I've had the same type of cut too, you can try texturising sprays / pastes / pomades in tiny amounts (not gels they make it look greasy). Those allowed me to give it volume and some direction without blowdrying or curling. But they'll give your hair a more messy look

Thanks, Hearth, a great book guide. I think you could use some straighteners to blend your bangs in with the sides of your hair. If you get fed up with bangs you could tuck them into a head band or scarf. Hope this helps ☺

I would definitely be interested in the beginner books you found helpful. Also it's hard to get used to shorter hair when it's been long for years. It needs time to get its bounce back since it been long for so long. Find a nice product you like that doesn't weigh it down. Play with different ways of styling it, as in air dry, blow dry, even rollers or an air styler, etc. Maybe buy a new styling brush to add volume. It looks really nice. We always feel so weird when we change our hair, but, you look lovely.

I love these videos. I would have never found The Neuroscience of Tarot without them. I'm currently reading The Neuroscience of Tarot by the way. I really like it. The author does a good job of making neuroscience easy to understand and demonstrates how it effects your intuition quite well. It also has a lot of journaling prompts and tarot examples that I really enjoy.

Really enjoy the book recommendations! I'm definitely going to read Modron and Healing the liminal. I also find that putting in some curlers when your hair is almost dry and then leaving them in for a while, can help :)
