You mean Harry? Who unexpectedly sticks up for N&C? Yeah, he has at this point figured out why Nick is so loyal to Charlie, he's started to realize that his homophobia is costing him social status rather than increasing it, and he does genuinely believe, as he told Charlie on the bus, that the hickey is a badge of honor! He's still trying to recapture Nick's friendship and has changed his tactics. His later apology isn't genuine enough for Charlie to let him in to Tara's birthday party, but his redemption arc is just beginning - I'm confident we'll see him grow up a bunch in S3. :)

Oooof that hurts so much to think about 🥺 Though I do feel like/very much hope that he would mostly let the relief that Nick didn't have to deal with any of that override that feeling💛Plus, realistically I think Nick having a better experience being out was probably a combination of the fact that by that point it wasn't such a "novelty" and that, at least with Harry in particular, Harry already knew and looked up to, if not even idolized, Nick, so psychologically it was a lot easier for him to be awful to Charlie who he didn't know at all than it would be for him to turn around and start treating Nick like that. But yeah, even though there are logical reasons why their experiences would be different, that still wouldn't make it hurt any less for Charlie to have been the one who had to bare the brunt of all the cruelty!

At the end of the season I couldn't trust how 'wholesome' it was and when Charlie left Nick's house I was legit screaming in my head "Get on the sidewalk, STOP LOOKING AT YOUR PHONE AND GET OFF THE ROAD" The music was making me feel like someone bad was gonna happen, maybe get hit by a car? Can't trust netflix with happy endings

Honestly, although I would do my best to not out somebody in any scenario, my main thought about Nick not telling Imogen was not even that it would out Ben. I forgot that was even an option. I thought that the issue was that it was revealing Charlie's assault, which is much worse and something that should be within his power to control information about. Not to mention that assault is never about attraction anyway so Ben could've assaulted Charlie and been straight.

We know for each character that there are big things to unpack and face, and this might just be the end of the sweetness.
