Larry is crazy strong though for his size. He can lift more than 200 kg above his head, while not even being that heavy. It's just like Brian Shaw and armwrestling. The muscles are already there, he just needs to reroute it for another purpose.

Remember that he has a crazy "base" from all the powerlifting. He easily had enough brute strength for full planche push ups at the beginning he just needed a few weeks to learn the pattern of the move neurologically

You are definitely more experienced than me. I was able to do 10 tuck planche pushups and 20 secs tuck planche hold. But I did not know any of tge transitions because advance tuck was way to hard for my core. So I quit after a 6 months or so. What transitions do you suggest?

This is so awesome Larry i love seeing the progression it really is inspiring and im only 155lbs 😂 i can do muscle ups, 1 arm pull ups, front levers, handstand push ups, but the planche push-up has always been something ive wanted to do but never been able to have the strength to do. Im inspired to really train my tendons and technique now with small progressions because Chris is a good teacher and you following his directions is absolutely inspiring to show that it absolitely does work. I can see the light in your face and eyes when you talk about the progress and that is just addicting man. Thanks for going down this road of calisthenics. Awesome stuff! Larry, something I wish I did sooner when learning planche was locking out my arms. I started the same way as you with bent arms as it felt stronger but learned later that it didn't carry over to proper technique for a full planche which is locked arms. I would begin practicing with elbows locked while your still quite early on and only bend to control or catch you balance. Good luck! Edit: I noticed later on in the video you're aware of the lockout. Awesome, I hope you continue to improve!
