Love fishing Scugog this way, so many good spots for a bass to hide on that lake.

Mark- I had some rigged up, but used the Strike King Hack Attack 1/2 oz jig with a matching Rage chunk for most of my better fish on this show. turbo evo- sincerely appreciate you watching our show, thank you.

thanks for the tips. I just caught my first three in the weeds last week and now I'm addicted!

Both; if the water is super clear and you feel the fish will shy away from braid in open water, use the fluoro; in heavier cover, try the braid; use whichever one gives you confidence.

Haha I like how you save the bigger ones for photos...Or maybe putting them in hiden holes where you can catch them on tornament days lol.
@ExtremeAnglerTV7 жыл бұрын
Save the smaller ones for photos??? Only cheaters would stock locations for tourneys

Thxs. Are you going to be filming in the hamilton area?

All depends on water clarity and personal preference, but dark tones with some flash work well for me.

You fish Ontario a lot. I live here. I have an abu garcia stx 3rd generation paired with a 7 ft medium fast rod. Plan to pitch and flip. What do you reccomend fluro 20lbs or braid?

Hey there.. Im with the junk fishing, totally love it. Just seems like whenever I use the jig is the heavy slop, Im hanging up more and peeling grass more. The slimmer, soft plastic profile baits seem to cooperate more efficiently. Am I wrong?? Or do you provide yourself with more opportunities with diverse baits? Thank you Karl :)
@myemail76139 жыл бұрын
+shield 307 lol, ok well I posted the question before I watched the show lol..
@ExtremeAnglerTV9 жыл бұрын
+shield 307 this show was based on using the jig n chunk; yes we do indeed use soft plastics a lot when fishing this type of cover, but changing the format of shows is what makes it a little more exciting, variety? Thanks for watching

What decide on which length of rod your using?
@ExtremeAnglerTV9 жыл бұрын
hiimdrummer03 Fishing in high grass and weeds the longer rods in the 7'6". 7'11" and 8 foot models can help you make smoother pitches over the tops of the pencil weeds and the added strength of the longer rods can assist with landing larger bass in the very thick cover.

what conditions would you recommend for me to use a 3/4 oz jig?
@ExtremeAnglerTV8 жыл бұрын
+Sam Phany The Lam very thick cover for mat punching, fishing deep weed and knowing the fish are positioned near bottom and want to get the jig into the right spot quicker without the slow fall of a lighter jig
