I think that the attack during the memorial was only Renni and her forces. She wanted revenge against Jayce for the death of her son.

Yep, Renni is the leader of chemtech Smeech the yordle is the baron for prosthetics/prosthetic weapons. Margo is pale woman baron deal with the pleasure house and something else? I think? Top hat baron is just general weaponry I believe is kind of like a mafia boss guy with his gang.

I love that I'm wasn't the only one adoring the intro. It's such a masterpiece in itself. And I might have reawatched the moments when Vi and Caitlyn come together and be pulled apart and Caitlyn being hunted by a shadow wearing a crown (probably meaning she will struggle with her legacy) so many times. Just brilliant!

I can see why this season took 3 years to make! Not only is the writing and voice acting top tier, the animation is mind blowing. You could pause at any frame of this show and it looks like it should be shown at the Louvre. Especially the funeral scene for Caitlyn’s mother.

I have such complex feelings about the first episode, i'm speechless! And OMG that opening! Such a brilliant job! And the first half of the episode gave me so many different feelings. I can't even begin where to start! I don't know how they made it but they have made a trumendus episode! i was expecting that would be so good but those scenes, those lines... OMG this is really something else. This season will be epic! On this episode we saw what happened on the top side. I'm really curious about what is happening on the other side. Seing catlyn and vi together are priceless, sooooo goooddd ❤ and Omg! Isn't caitlyn looking so good with this badass additute 😍 Thank you for the video, it is really good to see all these people in the comments with an excited mood 🥰

Things I specially loved about ep 1 season 2 : Renni design and personality (on season 1 she was so covered and didn't have any attention really) Ambessa killing Renni Caitlyn 's whole arc Caitlyn saying "Address me with respect or keep your mouth shut".

The Start of Season 2 Act 1: The Setup, just like with the First Episode of Season 1, it starts off with focusing solely on one side first, let’s see how everything spirals from here. By the way, i wonder what the recruitment process was for this supposed Special Squad that was formed at the end of this Episode? What lead into each joining? I mean, two of them is pretty much obvious, but what about the other three? After all, we pretty much just met the other Three in this Episode, so what was the reason for them joining? That they just happened to be part of that last battle or something we didn’t get to see?

Having watched the first set of 3, actually returning to this first one I have to say this first episode is a banger. The way they opened with that song and beautifully animated segment with Cait and the funeral, wow. And I do feel like the set up of the shifting politics was portrayed well, and rounding it off with that incredible battle sequence made this episode feel really full of all the things you'd want. And also I actually feel like I really like Mel now? Like I wasn't the biggest fan in S1, but she's showing up a lot more real and raw so far in this. I haven't sat with it long enough to know how I feel about the arc as a whole, not sure yet if it's just that I'm comparing it to the memory I have of the feeling I had watching the first season and this one isn't quite measuring up yet overall, but it does have so much going for it. Music on point, gorgeous animation, some really special character dev moments already... looking forward to seeing how it unfolds!

i don't think people understand that its real easy being the morally high person and talk the talk, when its not your loved ones dying and not having to make big sacrifices to do the moral thing. the show does a great job in not belittling hard complex problems. their current relationship is just another symbolic one of the current pitlover zaun relationship. i am glad it ended as people keep defending toxic relationships in the show, hiding behind its okay because its love. i am more looking forward to their fixed relationship (assuming is going to happen at some point) where Cailtyn is not constantly taken advantage of Vi and see's her an equal and treats her well. the relationship everyone keeps defending is pretty one sided with who is making the sacrifices to keep it going.

I really don't think Vi and Caitlyn are "together" at this point. Caitlyn is overwhelmed with grief and Vi with guilt at this point. They obviously care about each other, but the way Caitlyn backs away, or lets go of Vi's hand. She's closing herself up. Anyway, I loved the first 3 episodes so far. I think the pacing is a little too fast in a few spots, but enjoying the plots points.
