In the knox hill interview with ren, ren explains the whole thing. Basically Ren ran to the bridge where JOE was going to jump and he was merly minutes too late. He could had saved him, maybe, just maybe. Body was never found and ren went around town posting up missing person posters. He also donated his ablum money from Freackled Angels to Joe's parents and donated a lot of money to the coast guard or the ones who looked for Joes body in the water. All true, all real pain. ren is the goat

Proud to be a subscriber to you Jay, you are not hateful, but i get it. The older I get, I really get it. The loss of Joe was tragic for Ren, the blessing was it kept him from doing it too. He said he could not hurt his Mom and Sister that way. Great reaction.

Please please please check out Ren’s old song Freckled Angels BEFORE For Joe!! Trust me. It makes the experience of the latter even more special ❤ And you are right, the first part of the song is about Ren’s own struggles and suicidal ideation. It was done long before the second part and was originally supposed to be the full song. But Ren didn’t feel like it was quite right. He talked about that during the first interview with Knox as well as the loss of his best friend Joe. Someday after that conversation, the second part started pouring out of him. He recorded it bit by bit as he wrote it, before he could fully digest the emotional lyrics, which is why it is so raw. Ren put his feelings straight onto the track and shared it with the world. How many artists are that authentic and willing to be vulnerable? I think the addition of that second part really completed the song. But in such a heartbreaking way. However, the loss of Joe is also the main reason Ren resisted those thoughts when they hit him because he knows exactly how painful it is to lose a loved one to suicide and he didn’t want to put people through that (though he had times he wishes the illness would do it for him to put an end to the pain). So as heartbreaking as the story is, we can at least be grateful that it made Ren stronger and helped keep him around to share his inspirational art ❤🐰🕳️

Ren has done The Journey. He is now a medicine man. His music lances pyschic boils that are trapping our potential in our past. I love this young shaman bard and pray for his recovery, along with so many others. It is like sending him health donations via energy mail (email). It works. Why do you think Trump is indefatigable? He has millions of other souls around the world sending him energy via prayer on a daily basis.

If so... i Garantee youll recall lines in his songs that indicate his lyrics Truly reflect his struggles! Like... Clawed at the laminate ... from seven sins! His song Troubles was the finale to that series! A Perfect ending to his Sick Boi chapter up til now! And yes... at least listen to his Freckled Angels track... if not reacting to it as well! Theres 3 versions... just the soundtrack, a live performance, and one showing pictures collage of Ren and Joe and their mates in the good ole days!

Perfect reaction Jay 💚 yeah this one is him telling his thoughts of unaliving himself, then talks about Joe at the end. Joes death made Ren be stronger in some ways, he kept himself alive and didn't do that to his family and loved ones. The one that follows this song is "For Joe". It gives ppl a little hope, that you can have the strength to go on. Ren sung it for Joes parents before releasing it. It starts with the end of this song and goes forward. It made me seriously cry the first time I heard both songs Love ya Jay 🥰 Thanks for doing some Ren ✌🏻💚💪🏻

You are correct, that pain is different. It's real and honest. It cannot be faked. The comparison I'm about to make might sound crazy, but here goes. I remember seeing the Blair Witch Project when it came to theaters. It absolutely terrified me. All these years later we know it was a mockumentary but at the time, the fear and terror those kids experienced was real. They had no idea they were going to be toyed with. So it was genuine terror. That just like Ren's pain cannot be manufactured. That's why Ren is the artist he is.

My mother died 1 week before mother's day/2 weeks before my high school graduation, she had me on her 25th birthday. She had fibermyalgia, always highly medicated and in bed. Would say to me how she wished she were dead than deal with me. The day before she died, she was suppose to take me to pick up my graduation pictures. We didnt go, i was upset with her. The next morning, i never checked on her till near 1pm, she had already been gone for hours due to an OD. Itll be 25 years this May 7th. That 'what if' drove me several times to taking my own life. Ren hits me hard, man. Thank you for your reviews, bro

You reacted with grace🌞. This one is tough. The altro was a last minute addition to this track. Ren felt it was missing something. You were right. The first part was not about Joe, it was about Ren. Ren was a couple minutes late at the bridge that night. There's a lot more to the story but that's the gist.

Most people wont get the Fibonacci Sequences and Double Dutch line... But i knew you would! Thats one of the most insanely DEEP and descriptive lines ive ever heard!!! PS... Double Dutch is like the Navajo, the native American indian tribe, language thats been run thru Cloudfares wall of 100 lava lamps used for Unbreakable encryption... times two!!! Crazy!!! Like trying to describe the number One Trillion!!! One Trillion "Seconds" ago... is equal to 34,024 YEARS ago! Thats 32,000 Years Before Christ!!! Crazy ass line!!!!

Yeah, you gotta watch for Joe. He wants both his best friends in a year. Unfortunately, I’ve had more experience with this than I would wish on my enemy but shit forces you to grow up quick tough guilt and blame yourself even though once someone makes up their mind is not really anything you could do. He was running as fast as he could, but he said when the phone was busy, he was happy because he knew he was still alive, but as he got closer to the bridge, it said number, no longer in service, and his heart dropped. Then he said to his mom the start of the second year of his illness if there were no answers by the end of the year, he wouldn’t be around for the third year, and that the only thing that actually kept him from killing himself is that his best friend jumped off the bridge and he saw the impact that had on his family, and he couldn’t put his own family through it! He would just have to wait for the illness to take him out, but he found some solace in the fact that he knew it wouldn’t be that much longer, but it was a lot more years before he even got a diagnosis! Ironically, we’re all blessed that he’s around to share his music with us, but it’s a lot of pain for one person to go through.
