Stabilization means standardization. But the original experience is what is most exact. You need prophesy to sort through the multiverse of texts... scholars can show what they see but getting it right requires knowing... not from a bias of opinion and assumptions but actually having a firm bedrock to build on.

Nehemia, why don’t you make it clear from the beginning in the description of the video that this interview was produced in 2015? That is 10 years! That is a lack of transparency. Please, for the sake of scientific truthfulness, go through all your videos and mention in the description the date of the recording. That would serve the great mission you have a lot!

Not sure why you attack so fervently when the first five minutes make it clear when the interview was made.

@@benjaminmoore6594 Sounds more like an earnest plea to me, but a text comment on the Internet is hard to decipher.

Mesorete scribes came long after 300 BC. The older form is most likely the correct version when compared to the Mesoretes version. The Septuagint is not from 300 BC. The Vaticanus velum dates to 400 CE, during the time of Jerome and Augustine. It would be awesome to meet Emanuel Tov, but if I were to knock on his door to say hello, he might call the police on me. I am at the National Library daily. Devorah sat across from me in -2. Every community had their own text. Texts were very expensive to produce, many animals and a lot of ink. There wasn't any standardization. As a man was able, he copied the texts which he could afford to copy. A synogogue was a community meeting house that pooled their resources to acquire as complete a copy as they could afford. Their was a Greek document from Africa, created to conform to Ptolemaic Rules for the people under Greek rule. Writing had to be in Greek. Coptic is one example. Hebrew suffered the same issue as the Copts. The Hebrew people were required to write in Greek, so they produced an Ezra/Nehemia Temple Scroll copy written with Greek letters but was phonetically Hebrew. This became the legend "70 (elders) Scribes" text, which was re-appropriated to the 'Septuagint'. The 'Septuagint' was written by Greek people who had no understanding of Hebrew, but yet they attempted to copy this phonetic Hebrew text thinking it was Greek. The Greek document which is the source for the 'Septuagint' exists, but only as 5 pages. See, Paul Kahle, The Cairo Genizah, pg. 100+. Jesus had copies transmitted to him from the estate of Daniel, brought to him by the Priests (Magi) coming from Persia. Jesus most like had Scrolls from the David/Solomon Temple Period, possibly all the books up to, but not including all of Jeremiah. He would have been aware of the changes to the text by the ruling power structures controlling the Temple in year zero.

No Conspiracy Huh...In BAR Magazine a Priest let it slip that he was doing a Concordance on the Gospel of Matthew...The Teacher of Righteousness had an inner circle of 3 like Peter James and John and an outer Circle of 12...Plus you have a whole Community saying along with Yohanan the Baptist saying "Make straight in the wilderness a pathway for our Lord...Who were the 3,000 Acts2:41...Also Exodus 15:2 "The Song of the Sea" is complete in the Dead Sea Scrolls Bible but not in the Modern KJV/ESV/NIV...Even though the so-called Essenes were closer to the message of Yohanan...They were the Zadokite Priesthood who resented what they called the False Priest who were running Yehovah's Temple in Jerusalem...

Because the Masoretic text is based upon a Temple Torah Scroll that was returned from Rome 200 years after the destruction of the Temple, we know the Masorite text is authentic. But the dropping the mention of the time the offspring of Avraham were in the Land of Canaan, caused the mathematical discrepancy of 215 years not properly accounted for in the genealogies. The early Septuagint was obviously written based upon the reading of the best of the three Scrolls taken by the Romans, because the Septuagint listed Kenan, the son of Arphaxad, just as Luke listed in the genealogy in chapter 3: 36

Which version would Yeshuah have read Isaiah from I see the answer but more importantly is what the king James Luke version of what Jesus read accurate according to the Hebrew

I think it's best to put this in a search "Did Jesus quote from the Septuagint or Masoretic text", I'm suggesting using "Jesus" over "Yeshua" because it should generate more results. Just remember that the LXX Septuagint is a translation of the Hebrew. So there will be translation broader meanings. But when part of His quote is missing from the LXX or MT, that alone shows it's not the source He used. I personally think the LXX is more accurate, but that doesn't mean I think it's a perfect word for word translation. I'll take the LXX translation of the book of Job over the MT based on other passages in the Bible.

Or asked another way, Which version did the people who heard Yeshuah think he said, when they could write it down 40 years after he said it? Perhaps there are more issues of accuracy for people who read the new testament than just those that show up in textual criticism.

"leaves room for textual Criticism that is subjective"...? Not when the Masoretic text intentionally hides Jesus from the Jews and the hidden text from the Jews and Christians. I always compare the Septuagint and the Masoretic against each other, however I always lean on the Septuagint because the Masoretic text was altered by the Rabbis of the 6th and 9th century.

Why would anyone need to alter the actual Hebrew text of the Tanak to hide Jesus from anyone? He's not moshiach. Why do you assume Jews would corrupt their own Scriptures against the command of God? Isn't that a little arrogant to put your belief system onto another religion?
