I come from a poor white family. The ones who took welfare never got out of the cycle. It followed them into adulthood. My mom refused to take the handouts and worked her butt off to provide, remarried a man who was also an incredibly hard worker, and taught me the meaning of success. I'm really glad she didn't choose to be a victim of government dependence.

While more actually listen, the pros of screaming is more hear you. I’m tired of it at this point cause too many are checked out and don’t plan to actually listen so they look for something like passion in the argument instead. Edit: Passion can be a good thing but I’d prefer in some cases that it not lead decisions. Just a random example, I’m Canadian, the current government is seen by its supporters as a passionate one. Passionate about many good things but in its journey to provide many well intentioned programs that would help many Canadians they have taxed the heck out of us causing many other problems. I honestly think many more would be fine if they weren’t spending so recklessly and millionaires themselves but it is hard for small businesses to really grow which is kinda what we need. The job market could be better and if those small businesses could hire more and pay decent wages(depends on job) with good hours we’d be better off. It can be pretty difficult for someone like myself in their early 20’s. Many other problems I’ll spare for now but I kinda see it as essentially passion for the less than fortunate has made most of us the less fortunate while they see otherwise.

Also, in general, most of the most successful black people in america are recent immigrants from absolute poverty in other countries. They come here, see the opportunities, and make something of themselves. The majority of the unsuccessful black people have been here for at least a century, and claim there are no opportunities. They called Robert E. Lee the Marble Model at West Point because he exemplified what it meant to be a West Point Cadet. When the Civil War broke out, he chose the Confederate side because he could not take up arms against his home state of Virginia. For many people back then, their loyalty to their state was stronger than their loyalty to the nation. He did what he thought was right then, and he regretted it. Times change, people change, that's the lesson of history. Erasing it doesn't help anything.

Thank you all for posting this. As a white guy that went to a high school that was 55% black to 45% white school in kentucky, played football on a team with 110 players that was probably 65% to 35% black to white players, black head coach and black and white assistant coaches, I grew up with many black and white friends. My brother is 7 years older than me and went to the same school 7 years earlier. He witnessed violence black on white and white on black on a daily basis some times with knifes and such. My middle son is married to a gorgeous black woman, and we are in-laws to a wonderful family from Louisville (UK vs Ville rivalry) and we coached in inner city Lexington when he was young. My lifelong closest friend is a guy I met in elementary readiness class at 5 years old and we went through school together, church together and his and my family are one big family. I lost many white friends due to our relationship, realized when I was young that those were not true friends. By the end of school and all we both signed up for the ARMY together. He served 12 years (was in desert Storm). I ended up not being able to be in Army. We then worked together at 2 companies later in life, one in Lexington and then one in Cincinnati. He is as much my brother as my flesh and blood. My sister and brother feel the same way about the Boaz family. My wife and kids feel the same way. I was born in 1965, I have seen the signs in southern KY like "do not let the sunshine fade on your black ass in this town" and felt discussed. Even being discussed I could never understand what he thought about it and how it made him and his family feel. It is good for me and others to see how a community can disagree, discuss and try to make this country great again. Those men (on both sides) need to continue this and we should all be talking like this without watching TV and consuming the media misinformation (both sides). I wish you all would do a big multi party discussion online live, with a moderator, rules and respect everyone and have this discussion. Especially if you could get whites, blacks, latino, asian and any other cultures, both conservative and liberal, even socialist for this platform. Have everyone talk out each topic.

They actually sabotaged the Black vote out of Trump's favor. And it's not hard to track who descended from slavery. You just have to look at the US Census and track family lineage before the 60s. The overwhelming mass majority of foreign Blacks came after the Immigration Act of 1965, which was design to open the floodgates for the whole world to enter. So today's immigration problem starts with that. It was suppose to replace Black America, but it backfired, replacing White Americans, because the Europeans who came weren't assimilating and every other group since they've been entering wholesale followed suit, acting as surrogates from their own countries, injecting their politics of the nations they ran from.

White people have weeded out racism (for the most part) by way of raising each generation to be less and less racist - all while black Americans have become more and more greedy and angry. If black Americans really wanted equality…they would’ve said “no” to DEI. But they don’t want equality - they wanted a free ride and an advantage. Give them an inch they’ll take a mile. Did you know about that now how long is that going to go on? Did you know a reporter told Joe Biden within the first year he said that you got to pay out $350,000 to the family of illegal aliens who children were locked up in cages and Joe Biden got on the microphone we ain't going to pay that oh yes she is going to pay it because the justice department in the ACLU worked out a settlement it was more than that it was 500,000 each but the justice department in the ACLU agreed to knock it down a little bit to 350,000 each now what do you think about that you're going to pay that Joe Biden can do about it because it was ordered by the courtsyou're probably saying well I'm not paying on reparation I don't give a damn if you don't ever pay slavery reparations but you're going to pay something dammit to everybody else. And did you know there's another settlement where the government got to pay up illegal migrants who are locked up in the detention center that did work less than the minimum wage. Tattoos a court order settlement and the last time I checked there's a lot of migrants locked up in the detention centers what do you think about that you're going to pay that too. They didn’t want to fight but the other choice was prison. They had to leave behind their families who suffered also by losing the help on the farm. It was a brutal time that I wish had never happened. People need to remember that there were very few people who benefited personally by the civil war, in the south anyway. Most of the ones who were drafted into the confederate army were themselves dirt poor farmers. Of the 3 brothers only my great great grandfather made it home. 🙁

We can make this better. Educate the public on a better life and give them the money their ancestors should have received and help them build a better life for themselves and their families. The rest is up to them. Do what's right by God and those wronged, get on track move to forward. How do you decent black people put up with this so much of the time? All of you willing to speak truth in the face of all this nonsense are total saints. Love you people. Sage, you’re one of the most attractive women I’ve ever laid eyes on. Christ is king

Fun Fact: When the slaves where freed they got operations. They received 40 acres and a mule. You may laugh at that and say that's not a big deal but it actually is, so much so that, there are still multiple families here in west Mississippi that have built famrs and houses on family land that their ancestors were given when they were freed. Some people sold their land and took the money to move and start over. The point being, they got operations. This is just an attempt by some democrats to tarnish black people name and have their hand out wanting something for free. If we cave in it wont stop. You not going to give them reperations and then they'll be happy. oh no! This will open a door that wont be shut.

During the American Civil War, the promise of "40 acres and a mule" referred to a proposal made by Union General William Tecumseh Sherman to distribute land from Confederate plantations to newly freed Black families. The promise was made in Special Field Orders No. 15, issued on January 16, 1865, which allocated a plot of land along the Atlantic coast of South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida for Black settlement. The order also authorized the loan of abandoned Army mules for agricultural use. The promise of "40 acres and a mule" held great significance for formerly enslaved people, as it represented the opportunity for economic independence, land ownership, and self-determination. However, this promise was short-lived. After the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln, his successor, Andrew Johnson, reversed Sherman's order and returned the land to its previous Confederate owners. The concept of "40 acres and a mule" has become symbolic of the unfulfilled promises made to African Americans following the Civil War and the ongoing struggle for racial equality and economic justice. It serves as a reminder of the broken commitments and the need for reparations to address the systemic injustices faced by the African American community.

The gentleman with the statements and questions regarding the trucking industry was spot on! Something has to be done and action taken to protect and support AMERICAN TRUCKERS!!! Truckers are the back bone to our country, they keep our country moving and surviving AND DESERVES RESPECT, PROTECTION, AND THE LIVING THEY DESERVE!! GOD BLESS OUR TRUCKERS!

@urtriggered2 i am not making trouble for truckers............ I was one in the 70s! Not every trucker works for companies, many are independent owner/operators. One of the first things that needs to be done is to get rid of the "OBAMA CLOCKS"!!! There is too much Government and it should be taken out of many businesses and homes. I wholeheartedly continue to support our truckers, but just like in every walk in life, there are good and bad in all kinds. I have seen truckers that should have their CDLs suspended for holding their games in the steering wheel and playing the game while driving down the road....................heat will get people killed. I bypassed my turnoff to keep staying with a trucker trying to get him to understand that one of the doors on his trailer was wide open and a couple of boxes had fallen out. I guess no one told him to do a walk around or how to check your rear view mirrors. There are a heck of a lot of excellent drivers out there, but the few bad ones can make it look bad for everyone.

Would he be willing to move to a different state and establish residency there? The risk is too great to have both candidates on the same ticket from the same state in case of an electoral tie.

I already liked Byron for VP before landing on this video. That thought has now been cemented. I don't know where you live, but I assume you had to travel to the event, make sure you had all the gear you needed, etc. It really helps for us to hear these politicians speak and answer questions at an event like this and most of us can't be there personally. HUGE SHOUT OUT AND THANKS!
