I worked my ass off for a while to afford one at MSRP. Then the pandemic and gun run hit and it made even harder to find. Finally, today, walked into my local dealer, saw it on the wall for MSRP and my heart instantly raced. I snagged it up. I can tell you that this is truly a phenomenal firearm and is worth every ounce of its reputation and price.

I got mine in December and have enjoyed it very much. I have a Sidewinder 9 with tri-lug adapter and SBTactical brace. It hasnt skipped a beat. Thanks HK for bringing these to market.

@@RollYourRock Actually, it never did. However, my dealer called his HK rep, and I received a VERY LOW serial numbered SP5K-PDW two days later. I LOVE IT!!! I'll buy the SP5 next year.

@@sselfless that's a pretty stupid way of looking at it. It's made by the same manufacturer using the same specs and materials. But just because it's not full auto (because full auto is illegal) it's not a real MP5? So when a cop switches firing rate on his MP5 from full auto to semiautomatic, it's not longer an MP5? Got a funny feeling if someone were to gift you this gun, you'd all of a sudden consider it a "real" Mp5.

Pretty much. Same accuracy, same durability, but it only shoots in semiautomatic. Shoot a full auto capable Mp5 that's set to semiautomatic, and you wont be able to tell the difference between the two.

ike hk guns, theyr very nice, but i dont get it, they refuse to update the mags so ya can load the mags on a closed bolt... 1 tiny lil update and theyd fix the weakest link in the chain, but then again, mabey the mag cant be updated or modified for a real reason, id like to know why they dont tho. seems like they could make the whole system a whole lot better. and more money too!
