I attended a ceremony on January 23rd in Glasgow, after suffering from terrible mental health issues for over25 years, self harm and anxiety that stopped me leaving the house, I forced myself to go and witness them live. I was completely shocked when after the ceremony my life started falling into place, I dropped negativity and negative things from my life and learned a new way of thinking, I started going out more, started serious meditation and the peace I have now in my heart and soul is an amazing feeling. Heilung truly helped me heal, I see them as my best friends, spiritual healers, healers of broken hearts. May the God's grace them all, and all who listen to them.

I am truly glad for you to be finding solace after experiencing Heilung. I, too, am experiencing a similar event in my life. After a difficult life, particularly the last fourteen years, I happened upon Heilung and have enjoyed numerous peculiar little serendipitous occurences in my life. Little things in my search for meaning in myself that combine my research of my family's Danish roots and my efforts to understand the nature of myself. Many things have been falling into place from the most unexpected directions and they seem to have the purpose of reassuring me that I am following the correct path in understanding who I am and also my research into my roots and, now, into ancient Scandinavian culture, literature and language. Heilung are at the core of a new and deep inner peace and understanding of myself that manifests, finally, as an unshakeable inner 'knowing' rather than knowledge of my soul's design. And soon, to further the miracles that seem to be finding me, they are to perform here in Brisbane, Australia when such niche artists never usually visit us. And, to further the chain of good fortune they bring with them Eivor Palsdottir and Annicke Shireen who are important in my self discovery. I am grateful to have been inadvertantly lead to Heilung and to be experiencing their healing nature. It is not lost on me that their name is German for 'healing'. Bringing peace to troubled souls seems to be at the heart of each member. I hope, in the eleven months since your post, that you have continued to find peace and your path continues with positivity and your pain dissolves. Thankyou for your valuable time.

Everyone in Heilung is great, though I must confess Maria's voice and lyrics in Eusen have made me fully fall in love! If she is not an actual vampire yet, she should be. That's a voice I want to last forever. ❤ For the band in general, several songs have already been legendary. Othan really spoke to my soul and made me feel a feeling of comraderie and passion deep in my soul, that I'd not felt since I first discovered the pianist Vkgoeswild (Viktorya Yermolyeva), and the Icelandic singer Eivør Palsadottir. No matter what more you do, I'm so here for it. I'm not nordic at all. Just a half Dutch, half Scottish american (Fergus clan, ayo! Lol), but this music speaks to me and feels universal. You guys bring real feeling and LIFE into what you do, with great artistry. Respect and love from USA, and Godspeed!

Anoana is a perfect song. Its the only one I'm aware of, IMO of course, but there is nothing, not one thing I would change about it and yet SOMEHOW the live version at Castlerock I think, is even better. Its so good, I distinctly remember the first time I heard it. My jaw was on the ground, it completely blew me away. Listen people, if you have not seen the live version, WATCH IT NOW. PS SoM, please ask them to do another tour in the US at the end of 2024. I have not seen a ritual myself and there is nothing I want to do more. What a miracle this group is.

All I can say is WOW!!! You and your group put so much emotion and art into the creation of that work. Such a powerful and empowering masterpiece. I also loved your one on the younger futhark runes Norupo!! And I noticed the Amanita muscaria var. guessowii that was show in the beginning. I took it for the first time in full heroic dose two years ago but remember the Amanita Muscaria from my childhood in Alaska when I was only three and picked one and was eating it till my mother caught me and tried to make me spit out what I ate. I can remember seeing a magenta aura around things for a few hours. It is a very powerful and sacred fruit.

Maybe it is because I listened to Anoana the first time shortly after I learned I am going to be an aunt to a little girl, but for some reason - before watching the clip - the song feels like a long strand connecting us to our ancestral mothers, providing, nutrturing and protecting. I rarely say something has powerful feminine energy, but this song does. It also probably has the connotation that "ana" ties (for me, at least) to the Hungarian word "anya"[ˈɒɲɒ], meaning mother. It comes from the Proto-Uralic times and is one of the oldest words of our language (back then not just meaning mother, but also wife of a male relative, kind of how the equivalent of "auntie" is used nowadays in some Asian cultures - a woman close to you or the family). Very unlikely that it would show up on a Roman-era gold coin (given, Pannonia was part of the Roman empire), but the possibility is never 0. :)
