7:33 R - respected for what he is contributing to the world 17:19 A - acknowledged for what he's doing in every area of his life. men are do-ers, expressing themselves through their actions. 25:44 S - safe. men need a safe space to be emotionally vulnerable. 46:55 E - excited to be with you. the woman represents something completely different than the stress and heaviness of the man's mission, purpose, job, etc. 39:47 - Why detachment from outcome is the most powerful tool you can have in dating

Yes! It’s so good that women are waking up to the “independent don’t need a man” LIES. There is financial incentive to keep men and women single: twice the bills, stifled wealth building, indebted consumerism, and more selfish individuals dying alone and even more sadly: being delusion about their lonely reality. 😔

Yes! Women sound crazy when they complain that they want a high value man who makes a certain amount of money, yet complain he works too much on his purpose and have no time for her. 🥴 Especially the entitled women who “won’t settle” unless he makes six-figures: that salary requires more work than a typical 40 hour 9-5. 🤦🏻‍♀️

This was such an awesome interview! I haven't learned so much about men since you introduced Clayton Olson to us. Mat gives us more pieces of the male mind, so much info in this. I especially loved how he explained "excited" , bc even though it calls for us to initiate/plan, it's still playful, spontaneous, feminine energy that is brought :) Also loved when he delved deeper into "respect" and a man's purpose. Superb content. Thanks, Helena!

And you know it's funny it's okay to Dicker in front of the kids and to have differences of opinion but you should always do it respectfully in front of kids without attacking each other physically or emotionally because that's the reason people avoid confrontation in front of their children. Let's face it there's not a lot of mature responsible respectful adults out there

What if his purpose IS a thread to the relationship? His purpose was playing golf. In which he is really good! Thing is I was his purpose was more important than our family! He would go for all weekend playing golf and leave us alone at home! I aloud him tondo his passion yet not to leave us me and our 2 year old son. Do you know how heartbreaking it is when your 2 yo asks: mom where is dad!!! His passion was the thing that made our relationship crumble. With his new GF he’s the same, now she cares more for our son than he does, cause again he is at the golf court... Again leaving his son. So I encouraged our son to play golf aswel to have a minimum of time with his dad. Was a good move cause now they share a passion... while the GF is home alone cleaning and cooking for MR King... But at least my son finally gets to connect with his dad. So yes, respect as long as it does not interfere too much with the guys other responsabilities

Kasey Hall it’s great that you can acknowledge that you may have overstepped there and why it happened (your previous trauma) - now that you’ve learned that lesson you can avoid it happening again next time! As far as salvaging things with this guy, your best bet is to wait a bit for things to settle down and the pressure he feels to dissipate, and if he doesn’t reach back out just reestablish contact in a fun, casual way... you want to “reset” the dynamic with him and let him know you just want to have some fun shared experiences with him and see where things go (rather than press for exclusivity so early!) ❤️🤗

I think a man is created by God to be less emotional - for endless reasons. And a woman is created to be sensitive and emotional for numerous reasons. I don’t think that men have developed their nature nor decided to be a certain way. God has made men and women unique to being just as they are - for the most part! The fact that you listed R-Respect as the 1st supportive need he emotionally needs... well, that is written in the Bible... telling wives to show respect to their husbands. That is a crucial need men have to develop fully.

They're not less emotional though. Emotional reasoning goes hand in hand with logical reasoning -- the decisions we make cannot be made without emotion. Now, their tendency to articulate emotions less than women is specifically learned and socialized. If all of this were nature, we wouldn't be able to change these features after watching a KZbin video.

I love this channel and it’s taught me a lot and I agree with a lot of the content 100%, so thank you 🙏🏼 But I’m going to play devils advocate for a moment. I wish that there were more videos on how to show ‘some’ men not all, may I add, but show them how to be more in their masculine energy instead of their feminine. If anyone here believes in birth charts etc I have an overall dominance of masculine energy in my chart with regards to planets and star signs - if I could describe my energy I would say it’s like the Lagtha’s - if I had to I would go out to battle with the men as I have very strong leadership energy, I’m go getting, I like to fix and help, but on the flip side very sensitive kind and nurturing. I just wish that some men knew how to handle my energy and not see it as a potential threat or intimidating because chances are if they can take the lead then I will sit more into my feminine - as much as I try to change and practice certain ways of doing things I can’t change who I am and I don’t want to else I’m not being authentic and true to myself - I want my equal else I’m always going to naturally take the lead and take charge if my partner isn’t stepping into his masculine, one day I would like to balance this out with a balanced man 😊 here’s hoping ha Thank you again 💜

@@HelenaHartCoaching i'm just learning right now i have always studied relationships my whole life and still learn all the time, hey i am not dating yet, i had a weekend guy for 3 months he was a drinker and abusive attitude and kept chasing me in my house, throwing a glass so as he chased me the last time i grabbed the phone just to be locked out of my house, i called police they came and arrested him, somehow i had blood on my cheek, dont know how but, the green truck and the cops voice seemed quite familiar, his truck, the cops was the truck that came around the corner while i was trying to get bread up to a bird house he swerved looking at me ok, and i noticed the truck and felt cute and valued and liked, a flirty truck move LOL, well when i called the cop, he was not where he usually is, and that is quite amazing in itself, and he pulled over when i called he said is this the girl who does things with animals and i said yes, he said i want to talk to you for a minute, and we did and i said hurry,. i wanna see you, and he said now you know who i am? and i just said nothing he said, the green truck, what the swerving memory of someone entertained by something about me a different day, he said he'd let the other cop handle this while i stayed with him, that tickles me silly, its so cute, ok so i said yes i do about the truck, and then he said he lives above me out here in the country, i said oh, and lived here about a year and is in washington county, his magnetism flooring thinkling sensation to my whole head and his right cheek was pouring out some love juice of some sort in the spiritual world, i said he must be an empath, i felt him and it tickled my whole body, here i am suppose to be scared the guy in the house , and i m seeing this handsome sexy empathic interested in me gentlemen oh how i wanted to love him and hug him, when he asked me to sit in his truck, i said, " oh i better not" he said why not arnt you cold? and i said "i'd like it too much" he told me he was too vested in ................ so the other cop would have to handle it and two cops went into my house the bedroom where i pulled off all the covers so he would leave, i talked to Mr Sexy and often wonder if i am mistaken that he is interested but he said that wait til this is over and we will see he said be good do nothing wrong, as the court system will know everything about me more than i know about myself, so being he is a cop and your advice to wait for him to make the move, i am dying to see our connection, i just imagine it wont happen and i prefer to find out more about him cause that was most severely intense, like my own being was flush and tickled my left cheek and his right cheek were magnets, i had trouble staying in my space can you image me, i had silly clothes on, and he needed to see the good evidence and was coaxed into my home my bedroom oh god help me, and 4 boys were in my room, this is horrible says angela....waiting for Superman song by Daughtry is the song i found right after, so cute he is a cop so this is vital to his reputation i supose and he knows i am good, but when he asked me what we were doing in there i said having sex......he said "oh Angela" so then he asked me he said "do you love him" i said hell no his personality is grouchy and sickening to me, a drinker i dont like and abusive and he kept coming at me and its not ok, i am done, well most domestic violence couples the girl returns to the abuser, i am not a tipical human, i am an empath, all the rules do not fit me in this world, and if you are not an empath you will think that this is all in my mind, but its so intense that i never had suck of a magnet even in spiritual and energy where the guy was tickled also and interested in me, this is great, usually i like no one ever and i am not proud of him knowing i just had sex with a guy for sex. not for love, not good. so i may have just ruined by goodness he felt for me, i will never talk about that guy ever to him, if he brings it up it will be short and to the point, better truth than lies is the way of an empath, thou he did ask me some questions that i did not get to explain why the answer was the way it is, i have been different and a sensitive good person my whole life, i believe he knows stuff about me once i called and remember his voice was so amazing and sexy i called cops for people living by the railroad tracks tents and recliners and junk, he said Thank You angela, lol

I am a woman this was my husband's phone. I just wanted to say regarding relationships making a man feel emotionally safe yes since men aren't used to expressing their emotions it's good to speak to them as if they're little children not and it child's dialogue but as if they don't know or understand so you have to be a simplified as possible to explain something as to not hurt their feelings with love and respect course

Dear Helena. 1. I did what you said to a guy A: to lean back and to take all my focus off of him completely. And it was true: he chased me back intensively, but unfortunately, I had lost my interest in him and I didn't want him anymore. Why do you think this could happen? 2. Related to this video, with another guy (B), I did things like what Mat Shaffer told us: on the first stage of dating (5 dates in one month), I said something like I wanted a serious relationship, we just knew each other, too early I know, then I changed my way: I pushed the reset button, and I didn't talk about anything about commitment. He's still contacting me in a very low minimum effort, should I consider him or may be it is better to move on and just start with the next person? Thank you, I love you.

I actually talked about your first question in my latest video, you can check it out here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/anTFgGynh9Kpeq8. I would keep your energy open to ALL men (rather than focusing on any one particular man who’s not putting in much effort) until someone comes through with what you’re looking for in terms of a commitment.

Listening to the discussion on how to make a man feel safe when he's being vulnerable brings up for me that every time my boyfriend and I are in a disagreement if I express any objection or difference of opinion he feels attacked and then in turn a text back. Any suggestions on how to be in a disagreement without him feeling attacked. Let me add that I try to always come from a place of gratitude.

I am comfortable with my feelings I just cannot communicate them, they stay stuck in my mouth!!! My language is touch... Just realize this is in my way in a lot of relationships, also friendships.. Made me cry realising this... I feel sad but happy in the same time cause I know now that I can change it (trying to express my feelings already 😊) Thanks for this video guys...

It's so nice to hear mentally healthy conversations vs what I've heard on Mindful Attraction channel where the guy plays men against women, he teaches women one thing, charges them and then teaches men to not chase, to drop her if a better one comes along, he tells women that they can't catch anything by giving fellatio when they can. I've been listening to him for a long time and then he showed his true colors. He has a man's channel where he teaches men to be players like him. It's horrible because he's teaching women and at first he seems like he cares but he's evil. Thank you for this video. I'll be watching you and Derrick Jaxn, Susan Winter and Elliot Scott but not that monster any more.

@ Caroline Lala: You're right, his earlier videos were thought provoking but since he's moved to New York he's become more of an egotist - his way or don't bother him. In fairness, he gives the same advice to women as he does to the men - don't chase, ignore, move on etc. But if everyone followed his advice everyone would be waiting for the other to make a move, a kind of relationship Mexican stand-off! Actually, just thought - I think he is from Mexico, perhaps that's why, 😁. But it's cynical advice that presumes the aim is to have power over your partner (his often referenced idol is Robert Greene and Mastery), and manipulate a better 'deal', not a loving relationship. It's getting a bit much now - I wouldn't say he's a total misogynist yet, but it's clear by his barely concealed impatience at times that he doesn't hold them in high regard - evidenced by the plethora of blow job and threesome comments. It'll be interesting to see what he's saying, if anything, in a couple of years time. He'll either realise you can't be happy if you're using people all the time, or he'll become a MGTOW advocate. At the moment he's young, selfish and still finding his way in the world so he's not experienced in relationships anyway, but I guess the value is in him showing us what he's teaching player/pick up artists. He is honest in his cynicism, I'll give him that, but as he descends deeper into his increasingly narcissistic perspective of the world, he's leaving behind those who think there are still some decent men and women in the world. We all know that sex is the primary motivation for most men, but videos like this remind us of the other factors too. It's nice to see a balanced input to help us realistically help each other.

It's sad to hear that this is being taught out there! I don't communication or relationship should EVER be adversarial or manipulative... all that fosters is the same jaded, "walls up" dynamic that so many of us are having to deal with out there in the dating world! The key to building meaningful connection and trust is always INTIMACY, vulnerability and honesty... that's what I coach my clients into every day :)

It's so difficult that men are not emotionally self aware because they can be quite abusive without knowing...their ego is so sensitive. I personally don't know how relationships even work...women and men are so different. They always say men are not complicated...I think they are very complicated.
@Mat_Shaffer
@Mat_Shaffer 5 жыл бұрын
Men aren't that complicated! It's just a matter of understanding what matters to them and speaking/connecting to their needs, wants and emotions. We all basically want the same things. Men just aren't as emotionally aware as you stated, which is an opportunity for you to guide us into deeper awareness with your powerful heart and emotional agency power :) That being said, some men are deeply in their toxic/wounded masculine and should be avoided
