Excellent review! I've owned my Summit Backpack for 2 years now. The one thing it is missing, for me, is a means to attach a rolled up tent, either at the bottom or top.

Hi Alexander. I agree, that is the one thing missing. All the best. Clive. 🤠

Yea that's the exact reason I'm not buying it otherwise I definitely would have

Maybe I should send them an email with a link to the video. They may add attachment points in the future. All the best. Clive. 🤠

@@CDPOutdoors if they just add those bottom attachment points for a sleeping mat or for a small tent more people would definitely buy it I guarantee it

Good video. Thanks for sharing. I'm looking for a lighter backpack for myself, because I've been wondering if I could lighten my camping gear as much as possible.
@CDPOutdoors Жыл бұрын
Thank you Karelian. You're welcome. Going lighter at the same time staying comfortable is a good idea, I hope you achieve the weight that you are comfortable with and is best for you. All the best Clive 🤠

@@CDPOutdoors When a person can get by with as little equipment as possible outside, that's a skill. I have to learn to get by with less but safely. A backpack that is too heavy takes strength and exposes to leg injuries on the way. When people not so young anymore, recovery takes time and people have to find a good balance between the weight and comfort of the equipment.

how does it compare to Caribee 50 lt ops pack that you reviewed?
@CDPOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
G'day Andrew. Sorry I didn't respond sooner, just got back from bushwalking. Each have their own place, I will be honest with your, I'm using the ops less than the others. It is still a good pack, the others just fit better with what I need. All the best Clive 🤠

Got one just like that, good pack, but it's about an inch or two short for my torso length.

Which pack is your favorite for a 2 day pack?
@CDPOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
That's a hard, but good question. Bivi set up it would be the Helikon Tex Bergen. Hammock set up it would be the Helikon Tex Matilda, Hiking it would be the Helikon Tex Summit. Winter it would be the Tasmanian Tiger Raid MK III. That's the best answer I can give you. All the best Clive

@@CDPOutdoors Awesome. Thank you. I don’t have a store where I can go in and look at these bags I have to watch videos and go based off of that and then order it off the Internet.
