Hey I just installed 2 super 10s in my 94 9c1 caprice and removed the cats but still have the reasonators but it sounds like if I did nothing at all.smh.can you please let me know what I'm doing wrong? (Plus car has short headers)

With that free-flowing of an exhaust system it's very odd that the tone or aggressiveness of your vehicle has not changed. Biggest problem with flowmaster chambered mufflers is they don’t flow well at all and on a hellcat probably give up 50 hp.

Super 10’s are an excellent sounding single chamber muffler I ran them on my SS and miss them a lot honestly! Nice burbble at idle deep tone nice growl but a very wicked snarl on decel in gear after a red line! Great performance but only if they made them in stainless! Now running 3” x pipe sounds deep but miss the snarl of a flow master!!!!!! Cool car

Mid mufflers are the resonators. End mufflers are just called mufflers. You flip the super 10/pipe setup then you you’ll get a better result.

You did it right I have a SRT Chrysler 2008 I cut everything off after the catalytic converters and put the super tens, it sounds wonderful I'm in Cali the cops never f*** with me, I also have a 2008 Nissan Armada I put the super tens on the same way,, sounds like a beast!! people swear I have a street legal cam(or something) when they ask me I just play it off with uh slight grunt and change the subject😉,,👍👍👍 your car sounds great....

I have 2012 R/T Classic 5speed auto with FM40's where the resonators were. Sounds good but the drone is insane. None on cold start but after warm up I get insane drone around cruising speeds (35-45 city, 70+ hwy). When not on the throttle I cannot hear the radio the resonance is so loud. Gives me headaches on 30mi trips. Only way to quiet the sound is to put in paddle shift mode, but it only quiets it to a tolerable level. I'm going to have a shop redo the work and install them like Walkin Mad's.

On another note I read what you wrote and I agree 100% cannot stand the corsa extremes my neighbor has them on his 2019 GT mustang and it sounds like shit way to raspy no bassy hollow sound like my 98 cobra had when I had two chamber flos nice low rumble. Beautiful car hopefully in a year I can get one when the world is back to normal.

I believe it was 2.75 in/out. They make that option. Just not always stocked in shelves. Thats probably why he suggests the 2.5's. Cause that's what he has on him.

I go this way with all exhausts whether trucks or cars. Throw a muffler on and/or delete some stuff. Way easier and less expensive for the same results as a $1500 cat back minus custom exhaust tips lol

Just remember the mufflers are in the center and the rears are resonators. I'm thinking of straight piping starting after the cats possibly this fall. Wanna try a different sound.

I think the offset inlet and offset outlet only comes in 2.5 inch. Mine was a 2.5 inch and they stretched it to fit. Part number on mine was Part # 842518. Hope thus helps you out. Thanks for watching my most cheesiest video.

He actually expanded the inlet ant outlet on the muffler in order to weld.

Walkin Mad Are those 2.5 inlet and outlet on the mufflers do they sell 3 inch instead im going to get it on my 2015 hellcat challenger mine is a 6 speed what is yours

He had to open the inlets in them to fit the pipe. I couldn't remember if it was to fit in the 3 inch or 2.5 inch diameter. I didn't replace any piping except for the space removed from the resonators. So what ever stock size piping is what it is all around. Sorry if that didn't help.

I did a resonator delete on my 15 and unless there different on that year then you've replaced your resonators with mufflers and cut the mufflers off

It was a bit of the same, just a deeper tone, so removing them actually got louder.

Gotta say... it doesn't sound that different in the post. In person it's probably got that nice, deeper rumble. Either way, if you like it then it's awesome. I went long-tube headers, cat-delete (ahem), and custom x-pipe to Borla ATAK on my "slightly"-modified Corvette. After all that (and a tune) I had spent over $3,000. Absolutely a ridiculous amount of money but, at nearly 800whp, my car finally sounds like it should so I get you completely. Cheers.

Sounds good, but not that much different from stock.. I put SLP LM1s on my scat pack and WOW did it make a difference
