Helldivers 2 Plasma-Tech Loadout

This is my loadout for a Plasma-Tech build, focusing on the usage of the Scorcher Plasma Rifle. There are two different specializations focusing on the current types of enemy factions in Helldivers 2 at the time of creation. There are rumors of stealth focused combat being added in the future, which is super exciting! I do however have a sniper build that is more of a stealth focused build.

Arc thrower could work well with this build. I’ve been using it more and it’s honestly my favorite weapon in the game. Just maybe not that great vs bots since you gotta stand out in the open at mid range for a longer time for it to be effective.

It is of my personal opinion that you can make any weapon or play style good/viable if you practice enough. Seriously, I usually run Jet Pack and Anti Material Rifle and do just fine on difficulty level 9. So if you want to use the Arc Thrower, more power to ya!!! Just enjoy the game and have fun while you do it!

This looks fun and unique! How viable would this be in helldive mode against bigger enemies like tanks and hulks

In terms of viability against Tanks and Hulks, I would say its pretty good. I would however recommend using Light or Medium armor until the armor rating bug is fixed. Also swapping the Tesla Tower for something else like the Shield Generator Backpack would be a good idea. This loadout is more a themed setup incorporating realism and in game effectiveness.
