Not only that, Sony is putting in place the foundations of a deception, if they can prevent the game from being bought in places without PSN, they might just prevent the game once more entirely. They might also prevent future games in general from being sold.

Ghost of Tsushima still lists psn required. And the devs clarified the multiplayer mode will require it to be linked to use. If this goes through, that's the new standard that they want set.

If changes to balance are all that's needed to make you flee a game entirely and call it a game killing issue, maybe you should go to Team fortress 2, there'll be a lot more weapon stability there.

lol PC players are literally whining about everything Arrowhead do. Arrowhead is great, but I’m not seeing how many devs are going to sign up for a whiny fanbase that’s going to all out revolt anytime you make a new change. And the gamers don’t even understand they gave Sony the keys. I hope everyone enjoys their Sony Launcher. “they’re gearing up to release many PlayStation exclusives on PC and as suspected Helldivers 2 was a trial run on how it would go” Yeah… it certainly was a trial run… just laughing at the fact that people are actually thinking Sony is just going to take this L, not try to recoup their money again, and just become a gamers utopia. 😂

I think you're giving the million dollar company too much credit. The account linking may have been planned since launch but it was optional not mandatory. All the credit goes to arrowhead

Bro the requirement for psn is still on the stores steam page and the game is still delisted in all those countries. Not to mention the endless problems with stability and balancing with constant seemingly untested nerfs and buffs. Its a fucking stupid opinion to call helldivers 2 the messiah of gaming.

Ive been talking to many people about this situation and the entire thing is gross as fuck. On both sides. And the more i see this particular take the more id love to pick it apart like Asmongold picks apart baby doll limbs off camera. Id be down for a live stream debate on your stance on this. As in you think this was a positive game plan because you got what you ultimately wanted.
