For me, I’m quite autistic and have adhd and so for me, I’ve often had situations where I’m just trying to explain myself and the situation while also having my thoughts run a mile a minute so I can’t process what I actually want to say in the moment. Because of this I often get told that I’m making up excuses, giving attitude, or just trying to say whatever I can to get out of the situation when that just isn’t the case. I can see what was going through her mind in that moment cause I have been there. It’s hard to just cut off your whirlwind thoughts in high stress moments like that. Even if it could have been solved with a “yes chef”, she may have just been stuck in one of those cycles that’s impossible to break out of. I think the biggest problem with Joy was that she put all her need for support onto Kaisha, which is why she would try to protect her by putting up Scott and Rochelle up for reasons that didn't make total sense. Once Kaisha was eliminated, she lost her control and went home. She'd later try to pin the reason for he leaving due to racism and the directors not wanting a black winner (despite her season being sandwiched between 2 black women winners)

Amanda had probably the best exit. Not bitter, not complaining about being blindsided "Guys; Good luck. Have fun. Do Awesome!"

It’s quite interesting how Joy was on Simone case initially about NOT communicating. Now she’s not communicating and now no one can tell her anything. People gotta grow up especially if they wanna say they gonna be head chef of any restaurant

Everyone talks about Sterling in S13 but my favorite loveable chef is Frank you can clearly tell hes a good guy.

I'll forever respect Simone for knowing her limits and how far she's willing to take the effect on her mental health

i would love to see a season where ramsay brings back the first elimination from every season/chefs he booted out mid service for being useless and tries to build them to be the next head chef. Imagine the finale between Joseph & Raj

I'd say to take a shot every time someone says they're a "fighter", but then we'd all need new livers.

Take a shot for every time Chef Ramsay yells: you're gonna be dead before the end of the video.

Technically, the following were nominated before their eliminations: Simone (Season 12, prior to eliminating herself), Ralph (Season 12), Aaron (Season 13, prior to self-elimination), Manda (Season 15, nominated by Chef Ramsay himself), Van (Season 17, by Chef Ramsay himself), Fabiola (Season 19, by Chef Ramsay himself).

Not being nominated won’t save you, yes, but some chefs quit on their own will
