I think it was the part before JP yelled at Van but Gordon was asking JP why he and Van couldn’t communicate, JP said there was a language barrier. Gordon said basically “what language barrier he speaks English” and the JP said “yes but he’s from Texas”. Gordon had a big smile on his face and was trying so hard not to laugh I laughed so hard. If you want to see Gordon laugh watch the last few episodes of season 1.

It's interesting to see how Gordon really calmed down in later seasons. What I *heard* as the reason for that is that he wants to set a better example for his kids because they were old enough to be interested in watching his shows. But what I believe is that he's no less calm (considering he's still cussing), but he's suffered damage to his vocal chords over time and probably has blood pressure issues in his old age and his doctors probably told him he has to reduce his stress.
