It's wild to hear Page talking about Meantime as a record about to come out.

I heard them one night in a bar and loved the drummer's snare sound, especially on Wilma's Rainbow, he made his snare pop like wow!

The ears don't lie. This is super tight and you can tell this sounded amazing in that venue.

I wasn't quite old enough to enjoy these guys coming up. I was 11 when this happened and was probably listening to Anthrax and Metallica or whatever my older brother was playing. Luckily got to see John play drums a few times since then. Always loved his playing.

Right there with you. At this time I was the same age and had just caught the Nirvana bug. I wouldn't be turned on to these guys until another couple years after Betty came out.

This was the 3rd time I had filmed Helmet since they first played Chicago with the Melvins in 1990. After this management said no more filming.

@@D.Bychowski I was always amazed you got away with this as often as you did. I guess they thought you might end up selling bootlegs? And now everyone just stands there with their phones, hundreds of people filming the same thing. How times have changed! Great quality as always!

@@D.BychowskiTHANK YOU! I’m 51 now… and for a little while I’m back in my 20s. *I want to jump around to these songs but my knee has acting up 😂

Unsung- second song. I remember when this came out and seeing the video. Was expecting more like megadeth…? Long hair, etc… And instead, got more fugazi- With a twist of the chuga riffs- 😂👍🏻 That’s fine*

This was when music was phuck'n music. Gen Y-Z will never see bands like this. To bad they missed out. Oh well there's always KZbin.
